Surprisingly good lunch. Staff were all young and very helpful. I'm gluten intolerant - lots of options available which is unusual. My chicken, bacon and advocado salad was huge, fresh ingredients, nicely dressed, delicious. My friend had a tuna baguette with salad and crisps also huge, well made and delicious. Yes it is on the beach and very busy, furniture is shabby chic, it looks a little worn. In my experience, If you treat staff with respect and are friendly invariably you will get the same response back. Just saying!! Only negative, small bottle of water was £2.20.

Good service and good sized meals. We ordered vegan wrap, vegan burgers and halloumi and avocado burger. Good portions of sides included with the mains. The veggie wrap and the halloumi burgers were good but the vegan were okish. The banana cake and fresh fruit scone were yummy.

Great spot for a hot beverage, snack and/or meal after a stroll on the beach. Dogs welcome. The quality of the food is excellent with huge portions. I had the fish burger (pictured). It was huge, very tasty and value for money.

Great location, dog friendly. To get 5 stars the coffee cups would be bigger and speed up service. I understand Covid restrictions but other places manage to work through queues quicker. Maybe a counter to get drinks only, as I gave up trying to get extra drinks to go with the meal.

I'm sure it's lovely on a nice sunny day, with its location right on the beach, but on a damp, misty day .....we only called in for a cuppa whilst walking the coast path, and got tempted by the freshly baked scones. So glad we did as they were fantastic!

The benches have seen better days many rotten. Very flexible when sitting on them. Seagulls fly down and steal food off plates as there's no shelter and the plates are left on the tables for ages attracting them in. It wasn't busy so staff had no excuses not to clean up.

Good cafe right on the beach (although separated from the beach by a river) with its own car park (also large pay (not winter) parking area across the road). Breakfasts and snacks served all day. Dogs welcome and many sheltered areas for when the weather is not so good and seating to catch the sun when it is out.
