Vanya at Ward and Allison is fantastic, as are the rest of the team, all 6 of us go to Vanya now, and we always receive the best treatment, and options are fully explained. Fantastic.

Ward & Allison started out as a solid dental clinic. The care I received was decent, and waiting times were reasonable. However, they refused to accept my request for a scale, polish, and filling (which has since partially fallen out) without first requiring a general 15-minute check-up. This ultimately confirmed exactly what I had told them — but meant I had to return on a separate occasion and pay again for another appointment to actually receive the treatment, which was inconvenient as it meant taking additional time off work. In more recent years, the clinic has shifted focus. Their branding and ethos now appear heavily geared toward facial aesthetics and private cosmetic treatments, rather than essential dental care — a quick look at their website confirms this. Patients who fail to attend frequently enough are removed from their NHS list and offered only private appointments, often at significantly higher costs. They no longer accept new NHS patients and seem increasingly focused on maximising revenue rather than providing accessible dental care.

I recently had composite bonding done at Ward & Allison, and the experience was fantastic from start to finish. From my initial consultation to the procedure itself and the follow-up, Vanya and the team were professional, friendly, and highly skilled. They took the time to explain everything clearly, making sure I felt comfortable and informed at every stage. The results exceeded my expectations—my smile looks amazing and so natural! I highly recommend Ward & Allison for anyone considering cosmetic dental work. A truly outstanding experience!

Had nothing but issues with this dentist. A rude hygienist who didn't seem at all concerned at the pain I was in during routine cleaning. I've been advised an issue with my jaw "wasn't their problem" and fobbed off to my GP (who subsequently told me only a dentist can help with the issue). Receptionists are less than helpful and somehow unable to advise of any fees (I'm a private patient) despite me asking for very specific treatment. Avoid.

Visit to hygienist Lauren on Feb 9th. Lauren makes you feel at ease from the outset. She does the treatment slowly in parts talking to you all the time with encouragement. Very pleasant lady. This treatment is nothing like the scale and polish of the old days. So if you're feeling scared don't be Lauren will look after you.

Been twice (check up, scale and polish) and so far they've been excellent! Kind and helpful. Managed to book me in within a day of my consultation for a clean and have been running on time both days! My teeth look so much better after one appointment and they booked me in straight away for another check up in 3 months time so easy. Thanks!

been going here sice i was a child and ive gotta say my teeth have been butchered by the multiple dentists ive seen there, last appointment i had was for 17/11/22 i was booked in to have a filling redone that was done on 14/07/22 and came out about a month later, when i arrived was told it was a check up even tho we said over the phone i had a filling come out and wanted it sorting, went for the appointment to be told i have to wait till february to have it done which is a joke. they very quickly take your money and charge you more for there mistakes. dentists arnt that nice. only dentist ive had there over the past few years was a bloke who did a proper good job from fillings to taking my wisdom teeth out. sort out the mess that is this dentist as its beyond a joke and im fed up of getting my teeth butched just fo they can get more money from me. sorry for the rant ive just had enough

Superb dentist. I registered here about 18 months ago and had a checkup. All good. About 8 months later I was getting pain around a wisdom tooth. Went in for a checkup and was advised on options. I decided to have the tooth extracted. At the age of 46 I'd never had an extraction before. I had to wait 6 weeks for an appointment but in fairness it wasnt an emergency and we all know how in demand NHS dentistry is at the moment. On the day the extraction went perfectly - after a good dose of anaesthetic the dentist removed my tooth in about 30 seconds. Sure enough on the side of the tooth was a hole which was causing the pain. Absolute pain free faultless extraction. Great aftercare advice which I followed to the letter and two weeks on I have had no further issues. Its great to be pain free again! Receptionist is always polite and helpful. Based on my experience I cannot recommend this dentist enough. Thank you.
