   Been at this practice for many years although some of the best doctors have now retired there is still some good medical staff there. Especially Holly the diabetic nurse who you can be open and have a laugh with also Dr Nash probably one of the best doctors that's been there for a long time long may he stay.

   I would just like to thank Clare Johnson one of the nurses at kelvin grove ... ive only recently been out of hospital..the appointment was on time and all the way through my appointment Clare was professional and showed an empathy and kindness which by the time i left the surgery i felt better and more positive before I went in ...thankyou

   An excellent GP practice had to attend today for booked appointment with diabetic nurse who was very professional and thorough. I had a another issue which needed a GP who was also very nice and professional and sorted my health concern. Thank you very much and so pleased I am a patient at this practice.

   I have been at this doctors since moving to Heanor 7 years ago. Some people on the reviews slate Kelvingrove. Why ? This is beyond me as I have nothing but praise for everyone who works there. Very professional run and always seen as quickly as possible. Well done, guys. Much appreciated !

   I have been at this surgery for over 23 years and never before have i experienced such a poor operating procedure for ensuring patients are correctly diagnosed and treated. The receptionist are not there to make a diagnosis, they are not there to deflect correctly directed enquiries and they are certainly not there to dismiss patients. I go to the Doctors once maybe every four years, thus one would conclude that dta would indicate if i offer that there is something wrong i be heard. ONE BIG FAIL KELVIN GROVE

   Receptionists are rude would not recommend been messed around so many times. No communication clearly happens with each member of staff as one receptionist tells you one thing and you get a call from another telling you that total opposite.

   Called after having a temperature of 39 degrees for 4 days along with bad chesty cough, brining up mucus and sore throat none of which were being solved by paracetamol and ibuprofen. The doctor on call was Dr Chen. After trying to explain I have history of pneumonia he cut me off by saying "I don't need to know about when you was younger" in the end he prescribed me "mouthwash"..... Not even offering to see me and listen to my chest/throat. No wonder A&E gets packed because Dr's don't listen

   Some doctors here are great! Some doctors aren’t. A while back I had an appointment with Dr Chen and he never listened to a single word I said and kept interrupting. The receptionists are also very snobby on the phone when it comes to ordering prescriptions. If you are also looking for an apprenticeship here, don’t. The support you get is shocking!

   Been with kelvingrove for the last 33 years, then suddenly get a letter from them saying I need to find a new doctors due to them moving the catchment area and us living one street away from that. Contacted the surgery and even wrote a letter to the doctor asking why. Doctor never replied just left it to the receptionist to tell me no, even she tried to get him to change his mind. After 33 yrs I've put my trust and know the doctors and receptionists. Thought they were a doctors that actually cared for their patients. How wrong can you be.
