Large pub, wide range of lagers, not so good on the ciders.

It has been nicely refurbished, and has a really good atmosphere. The bar staff were very friendly and efficient. The new Guv'nor Dave is a decent guy who knows how to run a Pub

Good local pub with lots going on, huge seating area and sports. Probably the biggest pub in Ivybridge. Dart boards looking tired, and the toilets also.

Only Doombar as a real ale option, so opted for Guinness. Friendly, quick service. Live football showing, pool available to play, unable to comment on food. Reasonably busy.

Poor choice of ales. Is run down but there is a new landlord so maybe it'll take a turn for the better.

First visit today - slighty apprehensive as had the reputation as being a kiddy pub a few years back. Pleasantly surprised and will certainly visit again. This is a great local pub with a good choice of beers (the lager was served perfectly with a nice foam head unlike some pubs that serve lager as flat as a pancake) and food all at affordable prices that won't break the bank. Looking forward to next visit.

We had the misfortune of walking into the pub on the evening of 2nd August 2022. When we entered, nearly everyone who was there turned around & stared. We went to a table in the back area sitting down for something to have for dinner. The table was sticky & obviously had not been wiped down, no excuse really as it was nearly empty. We looked at the menu & decided on what to have to drink & eat. I walked up to the bar (menu in hand) & spoke to a male member of staff, asking about food. He walked off without saying anything to me & then spoke to another member of staff (a blonde woman), who saw I was at the bar with the menu & totally blanked me, walking to the other end to speak to a friend. I asked again about food & the reply was "we are not serving food". Why have menus on the tables then? I said this loudly to my wife & I think the woman overheard as all of a sudden she started collecting them & then actually apologised that food was not being served.
