Popped in, to get out of the rain What a gem, good service, helpful staff and an enjoyable atmosphere. Hopefully the men's toilets will be fixed on my next visit.

Attended this pub today and the landlady here was absolutely fantastic thank you, she has really turned this pub around. She is a real asset to the company as I'm sure you know. Once again thank you and was really nice talking to you today.

So they weren't serving food but I went for a cappuccino which was lovely. Very impressed by how clean and quiet the pub was. Very pleased to say its a top rated pub.

Warm comfortable, welcoming premises, especially when sporting events are on the tv. Always a nice pint served by friendly attentive staff.

Lively in the evenings in a good way. Good place to watch afternoon sport over a pint and a game of pool. Not eaten there but the Sunday roast smells good

Not bad...barman was OK. Bit difficult to have a quiet pint and watch the football as you had one side of the bar taken over by inconsiderate card players and the other side was like a jeremy Kyle holding pen. Will only return when it's quiet.

I like this this pub during the day just for it being a local. Landlady is a friendly person and the staff are really good. I go once a week and they know what I drink and recognise me. Unlike the tamar at crownhill where I often go and I an just a person who puts money across the bar
