Beautiful little country pub, lovely staff, and a beautiful view, had a nice cold cider in the sun on the terrace, perfect end to the day

Found the landlord not very friendly and abrupt.more interested in drinking with the locals. Definitely wont be back. What ashame lovely pub and beautiful views.

The Mountain inn - Lutton Only went in for drinks on a weekend afternoon with a few friends, pub was relatively quiet, however the barman couldn’t be any ruder, when coming to a local but otherwise new pub to me I don’t expect to feel unwelcome when asking if we can “order a few drinks” for the reply to be “well that is what the bar is here for” which was served with a blunt-non jokingly manner. I wasn’t born yesterday and I do understand what a bar is and its purpose, so cheers for clarifying. Other than that, The drinks selection was good, and other staff (perhaps land lady?) were more accommodating, however the introduction to this pub unfortunately means I wouldn’t come back for another, it’s a shame because the pub itself is really nice.

Hidden gem, this place. The landlord was nice and welcoming, as was the dog (and his turkey!). Beautiful beer garden with great views if you go up the top. Well worth a visit.

Well having spent most of the afternoon on the moor we were looking for a small and intimate pub to drink a pint in. I would say that appearances deceive, there was a lot of understated refinement here. Attention to detail was lovely, really great alternative bar snacks and plenty of proper ale (if that’s your poison) would definitely come back. Dog friendly, just a general chilled ambience. Parking area is small but we parked behind someone and just let them know at the bar to avoid issue. Would definitely go again not just for rehydrating after supporting our right to roam

Great little pub that my cousin took me to. It took us a while to get there but it was well worth it. Had a nice pint of Black Tor IPA. Lovely friendly atmosphere. Great views out of the windows Parking is limited. My understanding is this pub was closed but was reopened by the community. You're doing a great job !
