Lovely people, fantastic staff and great food. Highly recommend the steaks and all the food in general.
Gem of a place! Really lovely atmosphere! The menu is great and good selection of drinks. Prices are very reasonable. We need to come back and try the big steaks! There is a pool table and friendly people! The resident bird Blaze is a real charmer!
Lovely local pub we took a chance on for some dinner and a few drinks. Didn't have a reservation but was welcomed in and had a choice of tables. All staff were friendly and the locals seemed nice too. Good choice of food and the quality was very good.
This is my favourite pub to go to for food, the steak is absolutely amazing. We have gone many times with big groups and never once had a problem with the food or service and it is difficult to make up to 15 people happy at once but they certainly managed it! They have a nice selection of ales and a perfect pint of Rattler.. I will defiantly be back shortly.

Great pub which server the normal refreshments and good food, just on the edge of Dartmoor so you could go for a walk afterwards.
Enjoyed a lovely family meal...Three different meals cooked and prepared to high standard. Steak was delicious! Cider very tasty. Service was spot on. Dog allowed in without question.
Have eaten here a couple of times now the food is outstanding always piping hot. Friendly homely atmosphere, nothing was to much trouble. Comes highly recommended, as does the sticky toffee pudding. More visits planned for the future xxxx
