Great pub. Me and a mate stopped in for a pint, ended up staying for a few. Staff are great, beer was delicious and it's just got a lovely atmosphere about the place. Looking forward to going back.

The Cockleshell Micropub is a gem of a spot. From the moment you walk in, the atmosphere is warm and welcoming, with friendly service that makes you feel right at home. The beer selection is fantastic, with something to suit every taste, and each pint is kept and served to perfection. It’s the kind of place where you can happily spend an afternoon/evening chatting with friends. And yes, don’t forget to try a pickled egg while you’re there, it’s all part of the experience! A proper micropub done right, great atmosphere, great service, great beer.

We love The Cockleshell. It has a lovely quiet atmosphere that's centred around great service and a well kept offering of local beers. My partner enjoys IPA so there's clearly plenty of choice for her. I really like stouts and porters and they always have one or two excellent examples to choose from. As of it most recent visit the don't serve food and they're more than happy for you to grab fish and chips from across the road. Highly recommended.

My third or fourth visit in as many months and still consistently good. Quiet ambience, pleasing decor and a beer list bordering on both trad and contemporary with a heavy bias towards local beers, kept in top condition and served at your table by enthusiastic staff. Saltash is once again a destination for a decent beer after perusing the charity shops and record shop across the road. A gem.

Always a good place for a local Pale Ale, Stouts, Beers etc. 100% recommend for a social drink, away from your phone!

Simply the best beer in Saltash. Friendly staff who are always happy to provide tasting notes on the impressive rotating stock of interesting craft ales.

Such a refreshingly outstanding place for Saltash drinkers. No food, no loud music, no phone calls, just a nice hum from people talking to each other. Really hoping the guys running it get the credit and business they deserve. Decor is fantastic. Range of local beers is great, priced extremely reasonably and they are only selling the good stuff and none of the usual rubbish. Recommend the Thundercloud from Firebrand brewery in Launceston, could have stayed and got thoroughly pie-eyed! Not tried them but was tempted by the range of local gins too.
