Just needed somewhere local to go for a few hours and having read the reviews, thought this sounded ideal. Couldn’t have been more wrong. Three people in when I arrived, two of which I think were the owners. All watching tv in a small area. Quick and pleasant service but then little seating area. Sat at what was a very basic table on a plastic chair. After a short while you could smell the damp in the place. Really wasn’t very pleasant at all. Used the ladies before I left. Only one cubicle out of the 2 was working. The light in the cubicle didn’t work. There was no spare toilet paper. No soap to wash hands with afterwards.

I was pleasantly surprised when I found this place hidden away in what is basically an alley! It's the only pub I know of that serves the area it's in Nice little (not little, actually quite big and spacious!) local pub! Very reasonably priced drinks & a decent selection to choose from

Landlady's are super welcoming and nothing was too much trouble. You can tell the pub is very family orientated , live music was good with good party atmosphere .
