Had a great visit to The Jack Rabbit in Plymouth. The food was delicious and the atmosphere was warm and welcoming, but the highlight was the service. Our waiter, Joseph, was excellent — friendly, attentive, and very professional throughout the meal. He made sure everything was just right and really enhanced the whole experience. We’ll definitely be returning.

Came in on a Friday lunchtime with my mum and it was amazing! Our server, Thom, was so attentive and offered great recommendations from the menu. The food was absolutely delicious. Thom made sure our drinks were topped up the moment our glasses were empty (we only had soft drinks, but the attention to detail was impeccable) and brought extra sauces right away without us even having to ask. We never felt rushed — it was just a wonderful lunch in a calm, relaxed setting with top-tier service. Thom even offered to clear away crumbs from the table after we’d finished eating, so we could enjoy our drinks while chatting for another 45 minutes without sitting at a messy table (entirely our own doing!). Would 100% recommend to everyone — what a fantastic experience!

I was having a quiet drink with friends and had to put up with the slurping noises and barks from a large dog on an adjacent table that was being fed from the dinner plates of his owners. The manager had to clean the floor after they left as it made so much mess. I must state that this was not an assistance dog just a over sized mut.

Had a lovely evening meal here in September 2025. We booked online and were glad we had as at peak time on a Saturday there were no spare tables. Parking is free as long as you register on the iPad just inside the door. We were staying at the Travelodge just across the car park. A short, one minute walk. Food was amazing. Really high quality and a nice range and different menu. Highly recommended.

We visited Jack Rabbit last night 31/05/2025 for dinner. We had reserved a table for dinner and upon arrival we were not met by any staff as we waited 5 minutes and were not acknowledged by the numerous waitresses who passed us, my partner decided to grab menus and find us our own table. As we passed the bar I said to a staff member that we had been waiting and were going seat ourselves, she only then came to find our reservation and seat us, who knows how long we would have waited! That being said, after we were seated, we received excellent service from our waiter Joseph, who was so friendly and went above and beyond. The food was fantastic and we thoroughly enjoyed our meal and desserts. Joseph even arranged an extra jug of custard for my partner as when he ordered his crumble he jokingly asked for 'lashings' of custard! We even noted as we was finished of our drinks after our meal how hard working Joseph was, tidying up and restocking the bar etc while other waitresses seemed to just be hanging about not doing much. We would highly recommend The Jack Rabbit for the chefs great food and lovely atmosphere, but their welcome hospitality needs improvement.

Very busy restaurant. Booking advised. Shares car park with Travelodge which is situated behind the pub. Parking is free once you give your car's registration number to the person on the front desk. They will ask you to input your number into the tablet by the check in desk. Menu is given to you when you sit down at your table. Your drinks order is taken first while you choose what you want to eat. The food is nice and tasty. Downloading the app allows you to order food and also pay the bill from your table. Well worth a try.

Really great pub with good hearty meals for everyone. Small hiccup where a dish was forgotten but very quickly resolved. Fast service and great staff always happy to help with any issues or queries. The cocktails are strong but definitely worth it. Lovely atmosphere.

Visited for lunch on Saturday and breakfast on Sunday. Both meals were tasty, well-presented, good value. Burgers, calamari, pizza all good. Cooked breakfast very good. (Pastries not so). Vintage Inn chain offer set range of beer on tap and wines, but good selection. Sign up for the dining-in loyalty via their app - some nice rewards available.

Service a little slow given how quiet the pub was. Food was hot and tasty, though not worth its higher end price tag. Calamari £6.25, Pizza, incl. Chips was £14. Drinks is where they get you (as always).

I've lived in Crownhill most of my life and the Jack Rabbit is a lovely pub and restaurant too pop in too for Sunday lunch or a team meal. The staff are friendly and attentive, the food was pretty good too however although I never eat the little token bit of salad you are given with the starter chicken wings it looked old and wilted or I'd have given this place a 5 stars.
