The kitchen staff were very rude. This isn’t the first time — I’ve experienced the same behaviour from the same staff member before, but I let it go as it was a busy day and I understand kitchens can get hectic. Today, however, it wasn’t busy, yet I was spoken to rudely for arriving five minutes before the stated pickup time. As drivers, we don’t control when orders are assigned to us. A simple “the order will be ready in five minutes” would have been more than sufficient, without directing unnecessary frustration toward drivers for something outside our control. It’s a shame the restaurant has to suffer with 1 star reviews for their staffs behaviour, which I refrained from doing. Hope the management takes this seriously. Thank you

Took my daughter and her friends for food after school and it was awful. They had kids chicken nuggets and chips, the nuggets were very greasy, extremely overcooked and quite salty! Me and my friend had the chicken burger and it had absolutely no flavour! Refused to get ketchup bc it was going to cost 99p for a small pot. Not worth the money at all for food. Very disappointed won’t be going back.

Visited with our grandson last night after many years absence. What a great revamp. Staff were really friendly and helpful. Ordered food, not a huge selection on the menu as of yet but what we had was very well priced, there was loads of it and it was lovely. Buffalo chicken wings are amazing. My only very minor criticism was there was no ketchup and the mayonnaise was in very hard to open sachets, would be nicer if sauces were served in ramekins or small bowls. We will definitely be going back

This place has everything - 2 great pool tables, really nice food and staff that are happy to help. They also have a big function room which they can’t do enough for you. Nothing is ever big enough!

This pub has been my local for over 40yrs. Have seen various landlords. I had my wedding reception here, my late husbands’ wake here, been to many private functions here too. Not been here for about 5yrs. Went to a wake of a dear friend yesterday. Give yourselves a pat in the back. The decor is lovely. The buffet you laid on was very nice. Keep up the good work

Refused a wake due to the deceased person being banned? Think it’s absolutely disgusting as the person went there before they even owned it very rude as it was a final wish what harm can a dead person do very disgusting very rude owners used to love this place such a down grade on the place it’s a shame
