The young tall girl who helped me with my husband’s prescription was kind, patient, and very helpful. She made the process easy and stress-free when the doctors messed up. Excellent customer service.

Had the most amazing experience with Simran. Beautiful communication and helped me thoroughly. Ensured that i had a great understanding of the medication and made me feel so comfortable. Thank you so much Simran.

I just want to say a big thank you to the staff at the Millard and Bullock pharmacy counter girls. They were so helpful and kind, taking the time to answer my questions and make sure I had everything I needed. It’s rare to find people who genuinely care and go the extra mile to help — but that’s exactly what they did. Their support made my visit so much easier and really brightened my day.

Disappointing service and attitude from counter staff. The staff on the counter, particularly those who have been there the longest are consistently rude, dismissive and unhelpful. They often give off a “can’t be bothered” attitude, lack basic manners, and stand around chatting while customers wait to be served. Communication is very poor. For example, if the pharmacist is on a break or in an appointment, this isn’t communicated to patients, leaving people waiting 30+ minutes just to have a prescription checked. If there are two pharmacists on duty, one should always be downstairs, and breaks should be organised so that patients aren’t left waiting unnecessarily. There have also been several occasions where items have been missing from prescriptions, and each time it turns into a blame game between the pharmacy and the GP practice (“the doctors haven’t sent it over” vs. “the pharmacy hasn’t requested it”). It’s frustrating and unprofessional. To be clear, I’ve never had an issue with the pharmacists themselves and there are a few counter staff who are polite and helpful. Unfortunately, the attitude and behaviour of certain long-term staff completely overshadow the good ones. Looking at other reviews, it seems like I’m not the only one who’s experienced this, so hopefully management will take these concerns seriously and address the staff’s attitude and communication. Having worked as a dispenser myself, I understand the pressures staff face, but that should never come at the expense of treating patients with respect and professionalism. I have used this pharmacy for as long as I can remember, but after repeated poor experiences rather than a one-off incident, I may unfortunately need to look elsewhere.

I've been very impressed with Millard & Bullock Pharmacy. The staff are consistently helpful and efficient, and they handle a busy workload with good communication. The pharmacy offers a fantastic range of services, including a West Midlands Travel Clinic and various medical services, making it a very convenient local resource. To make an already good experience even better, a few improvements could be considered. One area for suggestion is managing wait times during peak hours. While the staff is always working hard, reducing wait times could further enhance the customer experience. Additionally, encouraging more detailed feedback from customers could help the pharmacy identify specific areas to improve upon. A more active presence in responding to online reviews could also help build an even stronger community relationship. Overall, this is a reliable and well-run pharmacy with a lot to offer, and with a few minor tweaks, it could become a truly outstanding one.

Went to collect my prescription and was told needed to pay for two items even though I've always paid one. Pharmacist wasn't very polite and told me I'd been under charged before. I asked for my prescription and said I'd go somewhere else. The pharmacy then wrote on my prescription twice "2 charges!" WENT TO ANOTHER PHARMACY AND WAS ONLY CHARCHED FOR 1 ITEM AS IT WAS 1 PRESCRIPTION! Save your money and go elsewhere. Checked nhs website and for my medication its 1 charge.

Medical staff come across as friendly and professional, seem to do their job well. However, ladies on the front desk are snappy, rude, and out right disrespectful at times. Not an ounce of care in what is suppose to be a caring profession. I have left the shop many times feeling awkward. Makes no difference that we're all wearing face masks now cos they never did smile, we can still see their scowl and negative body language. Almost as rottweilerish as GP receptionists, I'd say a tier below, but certainly not far behind. Please be kind, we don't want to be there picking up medication as much as you begrudge being there to serve us.

My husband who is very poorly with cancer as just returned from New cross hospital this week after having is left lung removed, part of the stomach and some wall of the heart removed also is classed as disabled and is really poorly, I called the chemist to ask for a one time delivery to our home of some medication as I am is carer and can't leave him at the moment due to being so unwell was told by the very rude staff over the telephone it's for vunerable people only! My daughter is isolating and we have no one else to help, I was told to call the manager if I'm not happy, you know I can't be bothered I find it totally disgusting that I've asked for help once off you all the years I've lived here and you won't drop a prescription into Langley Avenue which is in the next street, shame on you! So now I have to ask a neighbour to sit with my husband so I can get his pain relief, rude, and no time to help others!

Cannot fault the medical professionals at this pharmacy but the non medical staff need re training in politeness. They are always rude and always struggle to find prescriptions that are supposedly filed alphabetically. The staff always speak to customers like lepers and are the epitomy of all that is wrong with a 'caring ' profession. Have some respect for customers please.
