   I must start by saying the staff and owner were friendly and this is reflected in the 2 stars because unfortunately my car has taken 6 weeks to repair and at a cost of £2400 . I broke down on my way back from holiday and I was attended by the AA who were fantastic . The AA tried unsuccessfully to repair the car and I was taken to this AA recommended garage from this time it has been a struggle to get any information and any updates were not given even though I called regularly. It turned out to be the turbo drive and this has now been replaced . But 6 weeks and the cost and never calling as stated was distressing. I live 230 miles away from the garage and this was very unsettling for me . I am thankful to have my car now .

   Fantastic garage. They’ve had all our three vehicles for mot and two for faults. Can’t speak highly enough. Go the extra mile when a job is tricky and worked swiftly when I was in a bind with two cars in with them! Won’t be going anywhere else. So good to find a local garage we can trust. Five stars!

   I can strongly recommend after a very swift ford diagnostic test today. Extremely helpful mechanic and receptionist and they take time to explain faults found as a result of tests in a language myself ( non mechanic minded) can understand, all round very good..

   Unfortunately my experience with the people at NPG wasn’t the best. My car suffered multiple issues which were rectified at quite a cost. However, the job hadn’t been fully completed and so back it went. Days turned into weeks and I eventually liberated my car to think about my next move… Thank goodness I did and now the fault has been rectified and it certainly didn’t cost me as much as I was being told. Friendly enough but comms let them down and that’s not great customer service.

   Very genuine garage, was open and honest with my car, didn't charge anything to test the car even though it was recovered by RAC as a non starter. Recommended the work that can be carried out, but advised it was a recommendation and not essential. I would recommend this garage and will go back to them myself.
