   As others point out, orders can be a little slow in being fulfilled but Interhire aren't a massive company with hundreds of employees. James has been nothing but a great help in keeping me updated with my order. If we don't support small companies then we'll be left with the greedy national suppliers who won't be competitive on prices and charge us a lot more and give no customer service. 4*'s anyway but the additional one to show support for Interhire.

   Can’t give 0 stars so had to rate them with an undeserving 1. They take your money for items they do not posses or have in stock. You then wait weeks and end up chasing email have to email to get a response. We are still waiting for an answer from James from a week ago despite being promised we’d get an answer the same day. I won’t be ordering again from them

   Went into this shop on Friday asking about my door latches ,didn't have them in stock, by Monday I received a call saying they had them .Brilliant service and good communication, all fitted and working Brilliant again ,thankyou very much

   The consensus conveyed by the other negative reviews is quite telling. In hindsight, placing more trust in those reviews rather than extending the benefit of the doubt would have been prudent. Regrettably, I find myself among the dissatisfied customer of a poorly managed business.

   I was looking on the internet for some new wood turning chisels and nowhere was anywhere near as good value as interhire. Ordered last week - delivered today. Second time I’ve bought from here - won’t be the last.

   Poor service. Took my payment twice and no attempt to return the money taken over and above that due. Then delivered the ordered product damaged. No response to email and refuse to talk on phone, terrible communicators. I have no faith in them so cant return the broken product that I paid for twice.

   Been buying from the team there for 20 years and I find them all very helpful and knowledgable. There have been numourous times I've been in to ask for a widgit to go on a thingy and they have managed to work out what I need. Great range of hardware and happy to order in things not in stock. Can you get it cheaper on the net? Yes. But if you want the support of profesionals who can find exactly what you are looking for then support these folks.

   Service is all fine until something goes wrong and then you realise how truly awful the customer service is. We spent a decent chunk of money on some products which ended up not working as described (they were not waterproof as advertised) and as a result completely ruined the woodwork we were repairing. We spoke to the manufacturer of the products who was happy to refund Intertools once they had refunded us yet Intertools still refused to provide us with a refund! They didn't care at all about our consumer rights - I would never use or recommend this company again.

   A complete joke. Slow shipping and incorrect paper work which delayed the package for week. Poor communication and empty promises. Had to contact DHL myself and fix it, which cost me an extra £46 i fees.
