Everyone at this practice is professional, and welcoming. Andy takes great care of my teeth and the hygienist is very effective. Recommend if you take dental care seriously.
I had to visit the dentist after a 3 year gap. The care I received from my dentist and nurse was in my opinion above and beyond and they really tried to keep me calm throughout my treatment which wasn't easy. I never thought I'd write a positive review for a dentist but it's the least I can do. As a result of the exceptional care I received I'm committed to returning more often for my check ups. Excellent service. Twice I have had to make an emergency appointment and offered two slots same day. Seen within two hours of phoning. Receptionist and dentist exceptional in getting me booked and treated and in explaining future plan of action
As a person whom suffers greatly from anxiety at the dentist. Portman has been amazing for me! all members of the team make you feel so totally welcome and comfortable. They treat their patients with care and understanding. Big shout out to Lara my new hygienist she's an asset to Portman and was fantastic with me. I have been lucky enough to have been seen to by Andy for some years and I always value his care and professionalism. We can all agree that the dentist is never a pleasant experience however a necessary one and Portman and the team have always looked after my self and family exceptionally well. First class treatment by an amazing team!

We’ve recently joined the practice. Finding Dan & Gemma to be very thorough, taking the time to put us at ease and leave us feeling like the job has been done properly. I’ve had a few replacement fillings since joining as a private client, and I had reservations as I’d always had an NHS dentist. However, I’m finding it a positive experience, as my teeth look and feel better.
All our family appointments were cancelled here as they have no National Health Dentist. As we wanted to get our sons appointment upheld we were informed we could book privately for £30. When I paid for the appointment it was £56
I have been a customer here for many years. It would be fair to say that, like most people, going to the dentist is not my favourite experience. As I have grown older, there are occasions when I have some trouble with my teeth, like losing a crown, cracking a tooth, etc. Andy is always great, explains what he is going to do, and makes the process as pain free if not as painless as possible.
It's a really friendly place, I was put at ease from my first visit. My dentist talked me through and gave great detail into any works I needed, even talking me through the x-rays! We came up with a treatment plan which was fully costed so there hasn't been any hidden expenditures. My appointments have been prompt and professional. I definitely recommend this place.
