    Really disappointed with our experience at Tesco today. The self-checkout ran out of receipt paper and we needed one because we bought items with a tag attached. When we asked for help, the staff member approached us with attitude as if we’d done something wrong. The same thing happened again with my partner and the same woman spoke to him in a patronising way, even tutted at him like a cat, and said he had her β€œgoing through all the transactions,” even though we’d only just paid. What made it even more frustrating was how contradictory it all was they expect a receipt to prove a purchase, yet their own receipt system wasn’t working and we were made to feel like it was our fault. We both work in retail so we understand how these situations should be handled and if we were mystery shoppers they would have failed on customer service. We left feeling embarrassed and talked down to over something that wasn’t our fault. A simple issue with the receipt roll shouldn’t result in customers feeling humiliated. SCO - 29/11 at 15.56pm

    Wasn’t sure what to expect as I’ve not had a proper haircut in years. Callum advised which styles would be best for my hair type and was totally professional throughout. I go on holiday tomorrow and I’ve got a fantastic haircut to show off and a good vision in my mind on how I want my style to work going forward. I don’t live locally so hopefully I can tie my visits back in with when I need a trim. Many thanks and keep up the good work!

    Dimitri always does a wonderful job, hes informative, communicates well with me and my child, before and during each cut. He's done a lovely re-style on my sons wild hair after helping us to keep it as tame as possible for months while my son was reluctant to have it cut. Thank you so much :)

    Visited today 15th august. As an almost daily visitor (with my big shop on a Friday) I was shocked at the state of the store. Empty shelves and the produce they did have had 1 or 2 days shelf life. Empty boxes on floor and shelves. No staff available to replenish(hence the empty shelves). 1 till open! Ridiculous for a Friday afternoon. There were 8 customers behind us waiting to unload and pay. When a member of staff was finally located a second till was opened. The staff looked over worked and stressed. I have since found out that your staff have had hours cut resulting in staff being thinned out across the store. For a company that used to have such a good reputation for looking after staff you should be ASHAMED. Whoever made this decision should be made to work in a store with minimal staff and complaining customers(there were a lot of us). For a town that has FOUR supermarkets you should be doing everything possible to retain your customer base and staff. Disgusted that you think you can treat your customers and staff this way.

    Food at cafe was a bit dismal. Burned bacon, toast only part done, no eggs etc. Unwiped tables - cleaned and disinfected ourselves. Store was well stocked though.

    Terrible service Only a fraction of the tills open, long queuing absolutely atrocious management of tills and staff oh and it would be helpful if just one time ALL the escalators were functional

    Called in today to buy basic provisions and was told that of the 10 self service check outs only two take cash, and one of them was not in use. Okay so I'm a dinosaur who still prefers cash but this dinosaur will simply go next door to Aldi where they appreciate dinosaurs like me. Au revoir Tesco.

    Often a long wait at the tills. Lots of checkouts were removed over a year ago to make way for card-only self service checkouts which have never been used! I'm a fan of self-service but why are half the terminals stood doing nothing!

    Very largeTesco supermarket trying to sell everything from food to clothes that could have been bought on the high street. Great idea in one sense but putting little shops, I feel, out of business. A lovely cafe for a quick drink or snack and very near to toilets. There is easy parking in a large carpark underneath the shopping area, with lifts and travelators travelling to all floors. At busy times the lifts are congested so be prepared for a wait. Staff are friendly and helpful
