Big Tesco in York Street, easily reachable by bus from the City center. A wide variety of grocery items, also a small restaurant inside where you can sit and eat. Don't forget to use the Tesco clubcard for good discounts.

They never keep the prices up to date. I thought I was going to pay £7 today, but they ended up charging me £17. Complete joke.
Very handy place if you drive for a living as it has a spacious carpark, toilets and a couple of cafes on site.
Very expensive and avoid the cafe. Ordered two Fry's,£13 and the food was Luke warm ,undercooked and dripping in grease. Inedible.
Love Yorkgate store, enough room to walk round and see the products. Usually a good selection of different brands. A good atmosphere to shop in.
