   We visited the Bentley Green Beefeater in Walsall for our little boy’s 8th birthday, and it couldn’t have been a better experience! There were 11 of us in total, and the team made us feel completely welcome from the moment we arrived. The breakfast offer was excellent — plenty of choice, everything hot and fresh, and the self serve area constantly topped up. Everyone in our group, from kids to grandparents, found something they loved. The quality was brilliant, and the atmosphere perfect for a family celebration. A special mention has to go to Stacey, who was absolutely fantastic throughout. She went above and beyond to make sure everyone was happy, always had a smile, and made our little boy feel really special. It’s rare to find service that good these days, and she really made the morning memorable. Thank you to Stacey and the whole team at Bentley Green for such a lovely start to our day — we’ll definitely be back!

   One star for service because I was lied to. We arrived for breakfast without a booking and were told they had no tables., even for later on. I then went on the website and booked a table for an hour later. I understand the staff are probably told no walk-ins by management, but please be truthful. The food was delicious as it always is here.

   The food was good. We ordered ribeye and sirloin steaks, which were cooked the way we requested and tasted delicious. The pricing for the steaks was reasonable as well. The chicken melt was also ordered and tasted alright. The steaks were definitely a lot better than the chicken. Our server was wonderful, and the service was brilliant. The atmosphere and cleanliness of the restaurant were excellent as well.

   Came for a business trip and got meal deal vouchers for breakfast and dinner, all of the staff were exceptionally friendly and welcoming and some of the best customer service I have ever received, with all going above and beyond to help and upsell/ make recommend on the menu. Every I ate was yummy and cooked well! The breakfast is a continental buffet with cook to order hot items for the breakfast menu. All cooked well, I even requested a bacon roll to go one morning for “on the road breakfast” which was greatly appreciated! I wouldn’t Recommend the fish and chips and the burger meals, and the Black Forest cake was delicious! (I personally wouldn’t Recommend the chicken and rib combo, I’ve had this at a few beefeaters although has been consistent, it’s not for me, I believe the chicken is dry/ chewy and what I enjoy about ribs in general is fresh, juicy, fall off the bone meat, which I don’t believe this meets the criteria, although not a bad meal I don’t believe it compares in quality with the rest of what I ate, additional at the time it is one of the higher cost items on the menu)

   The staff were amazing, some things on the menu were rather poor, steak and ale pie was really just like a cheap shop bought pie. The biggest problem is the short measures at the bar. They are serving pints in 1 pint glasses, not line glasses. My cider has a massive head on it, like an ice cream, when it settled it was well short of the rim. On my second night in the bar I requested a full pint, but it was still shy. When it is over £5 for a pint, it should be a pint. Watch you bill, they had to make 2 ammendments to the bill, to change two overcharges, lucky we noticed. Breakfast is a little inconsistent, day one it was served with one of each item, day two it was served with two of each item, like the picture on the menu. Two nights at the hotel with the meal deal was nearly £300.00 I expected better.

   Friendly and helpful staff. The atmosphere was nice. It was busy with families and Christmas parties. Reasonable price on cocktails. However the food was underwhelming. We had the Christmas menu and went for the two courses. I had the turkey burger. No garnish, no vegetables...just looked unloved. For the price I expected a little more love and care on the food side.

   Lovely place, held my daughters 21st birthday meal at this place, we had the function room to ourselves, the staff were very accommodating, room was set out as we wanted it, food was exceptional, everyone enjoyed it and commented how lovely the room was and food. No complaints all. And a BIG thank you to KIM who was our main waitress, she was very helpful, service with a smile. Thank you Bentley Green for a wonderful afternoon & evening.
