   Didn’t get to eat so please ignore food rating. Server was chatting to another customer til the boss came out (he hadn’t noticed I was waiting but she at least then knew I existed). A bag of chips have gone up to £4 but minimum card spend is £4.50… We only went here cos our favourite wasn’t available and we’d just come back from the hospital so no cash.. we are repeatedly disappointed every time we try to give this place a go.

   Went here for green Halloween chips! We asked for a green fish too, owner and staff were friendly and happy to oblige! Very good quality and a decent price. Highly recommended!

   I realise places have to do "something different " to make their business stand out, but dying your recooked chips red and green is definitely not the way to do it. Haven't been to Sandbank for at least 18 months, obviously has had a change (or two) of management since then. I'm guessing the (in my opinion) ignorant man who came out from the back and didn't acknowledge me, a customer, was the new owner. However the young lady serving was pleasant and seemed friendly. The fish was cooked fresh, we had no problem with that, but the chips were absolutely awful. I realise it is very difficult to run a business in this current climate, but fundamentally you need to ensure people want to come back.

   Been awhile since using this chippy as been dirty and food not upto scratch. Chips are beautiful and cleanliness in shop gone up 100%. Only down side is doner meat tastes like quite a few chip shops in the area cheap and not much flavour. Please upgrade to a better meat and I'm sure people will come from far and wide. Not spices in it
