   A group of us from our residential estate in Bloxwich have now visited this venue twice for their lunchtime event, and both occasions were a resounding success! This is much more than just a meal; it’s a brilliant social event. For a great price per person, we enjoyed a full three-course meal including a starter, main, and dessert. The food was excellent on both visits—great quality and great value. What truly sets this venue apart is the atmosphere and the brilliant staff. The service was absolutely superb, delivered with genuine smiles, making everyone feel welcome. The added entertainment—a fun game of bingo and a sing 'n dance really rounded off the afternoon perfectly and ensured a good time was had by all. We really enjoyed both lunchtimes and we are already planning our third visit next month. If you are looking for a great value, fun, and friendly daytime social event, this is the place to be.

   This is a lovely pub we have used for many years. Extremely friendly and helpful staff and great food at very reasonable prices. It's quite a big pu so even if you don't book you will probably get a table. It's especially nice at this time of year as it is always nice and warm. It also has the best Christmas decorations inside and outside of any of the pubs we use. A great pub worth a try. Alan Whitehouse.

   On Monday 3rd November 16 of us went to the wheatsheaf at lunch time. We had a 3 course meal, 2 games of bingo and there was a male singer on who was great. We all had a fantastic time, everyone commented that there meals were really nice. The service was excellent nothing was too much trouble for them, our meals all came out together so I have to say a massive well done to the kitchen staff. We have all booked to go again in December. Well done to all the staff that was on you all worked so hard and made it a fab afternoon for us all, can't wait for the next one.

   Lovely food, great service and had a good chat with Tammy, one of the waitresses. Quick ordering time for food, drinks were great too. Clean, tidy and well presented. Enjoyable experience and have to give Tammy a big shout out - it's people like that who make your evening! Thank you!

   Came here for my mum's birthday and I couldn't fault the service, Liam the general manager and Sarah were incredible, they couldn't do enough for us all (a big group). The pub was full the the brim and they handled eveything flawlessly without breaking a sweat, keeping us updated at every turn. Keep up the good work guys, you're smashing it! Would highly recommend.

   Very very very busy the staff coped so well , ignore anything negative the staff here earn there graft. Everything we ordered was spot on, drinks were perfect. Great value. Will definitely visit again.

   Hardly ever give 5 stars to anyone, simply because it keeps people on their toes. However, we enjoyed our birthday get-together on Tuesday evening. Considering we didn't book and I helped with cleaning off tables to secure enough tables ( there were about 12 of us) the kitchen staff coped very well with all our orders. Didn't have to wait too long and food was enjoyed by all. Steak and ale pie is excellent.

   We waited an hour for our food then when It came out they had got our order wrong and my partner had to eat his meal cold as it took them another half an hour to cook the burger. I had finished my meal before he got his burger, and the staff were standing around chatting and laughing while on their phones. I'm not normally a person who complains but this was a shocking experience and I wouldn't expect to pay £26 for that.
