Brought a sofa and chair back in July, they said it would take around 8 weeks for delivery has it had to be made. 2 weeks later they had one available, turns out they tried to give me an ex display sofa which was dirty and marked. Then has issues having this exchanged the new sofa finally arrived 8 weeks later with the incorrect legs. This is still an ongoing issue, as I've now had to wait another 3 weeks for the new legs. Which when chased they still haven't been delivered. Shame as the product is lovely but the level on service has been terrible in the whole process, lack of attention to detail in every situation.

Bought a table and four chairs in November 2022 which absolutely loved. Its a marble table and four metal chairs which cost abit. The chairs are metal frame with fabrics tops and back they looked lovely But the chairs started to break last year. The legs snapped on two of the chairs in the weld so it looked like a fault. I contacted barker Stonehouse about this but the warranty just run out so we had to buy two new chairs from somewhere else. Today another chair snapped and my son fell . It was in exactly same place, the weld of front leg. Now none of us are overweight or misuse them . My children are young and cannot damage metal legs on the chairs. I love barker Stonehouse things but the quality isn't good. You expect metal chairs at 250 pounds each to last 10 years or more so I won't be going there again I'm afraid. I'm not a moaner but 750 quid down the drain plus replacements of chairs.

My parents bought 2 chairs a couple of years ago for around Β£2k. They noticed that both chairs were defective (arm rest frayed, seat cushions coming apart, and cushions sagging) and complained to customer service. They were told that as the chairs were slightly over 2 years old they would have to pay for a repair. As you will see from the photos, the quality of the workmanship is a disgrace - the furniture is far from fit for purpose. Based on the sale of goods act, goods are expected to last a reasonable amount of time. Does this company think 2 years is a reasonable lifespan for the chairs it sells?

Gerard was very helpful & friendly, no hard sell, left us to continue browsing the store after l stopped him with questions, didnβt watch us etc. Very unlike a neighbouring store only minutes before. Once the purchase was going on, recommended the after care & again, no hard push. Would recommend the store, everyone was warm, welcoming, visible & you were left to wander around freely.

Beautiful quality furniture with character at comparable prices to the other less unique sofa shops, Tracy was very helpful though the process of ordering our new sofa, delivery options were about 2 weeks out which was perfect for planning its arrival. Very happy with the service. I will be back next time we're looking for home furnishings

I got plenty of help and a great shopping experience with some very friendly ladies and had a good giggle with them after the purchase

Went in store looking for sofas, staff not welcoming, one male member of staff busy chatting with his partner on the phone on the store floor, in work time, completely oblivious to the fact there are customers in store. A complete contrast from the rest of the sofa stores there all of which were very helpful and welcoming. Apalling service, we decided to leave and will be purchasing from one of the other stores instead. If you are making a trip to go here I wouldnt bother, as we travelled 30 miles to be very disappointed.

Bought a bed, bedside tables, mattress, 3 arm chairs, sofa and coffee table from here this year. Sales staff I dealt with were excellent, just let down by the rest of the company unfortunately. The sofa arrived with a broken frame at the bottom, and coffee table had rust on it. The sofa is a little more excusable, but rust on a brand new coffee table just isn't. Do they have nobody checking items before they are sent out for delivery? Rejected them both and am perusing a refund so I can buy elsewhere, and certainly would think twice before buying anything from here again.
