Another really good evening of great food at the Lazy Hill. Had a mix grow and it was delicious. Also tried the lamb curry and chicken clay pot which were perfectly spiced not greasy. Not too salty and went down really well with a nice cold beer. Toilets are pretty clean as usual and the service is quick and friendly. Happy to recommend the lady. Hell if you fancy a Punjabi mixed grill or good food evening.

Visited the pub earlier this evening - what a great end to a busy week! We were truly impressed by the service throughout our visit - we were welcomed by all staff members, seated within seconds and our order was taken within a few minutes. Service was incredibly quick. The food was faultless - the best mixed grill in the Midlands! The butter chicken was just perfect - will definitely be ordering again. We also had sides - chips, naan and rotis - everything was spot on! If only we had room for more, we would have ordered a sweet treat :) the quality cannot be matched. A lovely family run pub/ restaurant - I’d definitely put it at the top of my list for recommendations. Whether it’s a family meal, quick munch or a date night for two, you’ll not be disappointed! Worth every single penny - thank you for a great evening!

It’s lively, busy, and has the perfect grill atmosphere as you’d hope for. The menu is good for a grill, but the choices were all very similar, and somehow, despite the large menu, lacked a little variety. The small plates can be eaten as mains though, with great portion sizes! I shared a mixed grill, with the chicken tikka and fish pakora being the standout. The chutney tray was also immense, very tasty sauces! I had a roti which was just okay, being far too similar to the naan, and a tarka dal, again, nice, but nothing special and not really close to that you’d get from a curry house. The staff were friendly enough and all in all it’s a grill I would recommend.

Absolutely fantastic Desi-pub... Haven't been here for years, so was very surprised by the amount of space it has. A good choice of curry type meals and grills at a reasonable price. Good choice of draught drinks at the bar. You queue up to order food, and again to order drinks... Seems to work well and the food came out quite quickly. The only gripe was the weird "dance" music being played too loud that made it difficult to have a conversation... Follow up visit... Not as good. Felt really rushed, they brought out poppadoms but no plates, then brought out plates and the mains within moments. Would not recommend the salad, it was tiny, mostly lettuce. However, the background music was better and not as loud (shame about the group of "grown men" behind us who were shouting and messing about ...)

What a fantastic pub. Clean and great decor with great atmosphere. The pints here are superb and the food is very tasty, fresh and full of flavour. The mix grill is very good, the butter chicken curry was very tasty one of the best around. Will definitely recommend this place and will return here again.

This place was all about the food for me. The range of drinks deserves a mention (ales, lagers, ciders, spirits all good quality) but the food was incredible and was very reasonably priced. The large sharing grill was amazing and fed four adults well with the addition of a couple of naans, a dahl and a side of masala chips. The flavours were great with a range of meats. If an Indian barbecue is taking your fancy, this place is definitely worth a go.

Suprise visit for us, we only popped in for a snack, had a pudding and other half had a chicken tikka wrap, all lush just would have liked it altogether. Cant wait to come back.

I wasn't sure what to expect, but had heard great things. The front is an old fashioned style bar, looked comfortable and friendly. We walked through to the restaurant at the back which is very nice and bright. The tables were spaced nicely and were comfortable. It was order at the cook station and pay, which worked well and was nice to see the cooking. The food was lovely, and the portions were a good size. I'll definitely be going back.
