   Ordered two of the large fish and chips When it came out there were two x small fish on each plate not one large..definitely out of a box batter crispy but only minced fish inside not cod very disappointing for pub food.

   Very nice. First time in after the October 2025 refurb. Food was brilliant, the Chicken Zinger Burger I had was spot on. Refurb has turned out well, looks a lot more open now but still looks like the pub it should.

   Been to the navigation a few times for drinks and food. Atmosphere is great, food is delicious cannot fault this place at all. Land lady and landlord are great, also the staff. Entertainment is always fantastic too. Can’t recommend this place enough Great friendly local pub.

   Really nice food at a very good price. Clean and fresh dining area and well kept gardens. Nice car park, clean loos friendly staff. Exactly what you want from a pub like this. Good standards !

   Never again. 10oz fillet steak contained 5oz fat and gristle. I told the waitress, she went to the kitchen to talk to the chef. She came back and said the butcher was at fault. Waitress was attentive, puddings were nice but was not offered any compensation for such a disgusting piece of steak

   The pub overall is tired along with the owner who can barely raise a smile, bar counter is sticky never seen anyone wipe the bar over after drinks get spilt, dart board position is a joke right next to the pool table if this is your idea of a good venue then crack on.

   Went for a meal with colleagues after work, small but nice comfortable layout, we all had fish and chips, home made, pleasant staff, nice food, car park at the rear, toddler friendly but wheelchair will struggle thru narrow doors ( old building) have been before never a problem

   Food was faultless, I has the small roast beef for £5.99 which was not small at all, great value for money. The service was lacking as we had to wait about 25 minutes between being seated and receiving the menus. I think we had been forgotten. In fairness it was very busy at the time, but we had almost finished our drinks before we had even seen the menu.
