   I visited with my family for dinner midweek. A lovely beautiful old pub out in country. Such a quaint little bar and really interesting decoration. The service was top notch, friendly, professional and attentive really could not have been better. Quite a compact well thought out menu and really something for everyone and somewhere I would not have expected to find dressed crab. We ordered the dressed crab, gammon and steak pie. All meals were presented well, of a good size and more importantly the food was sourced locally. All meals were delicious and there was no room left for dessert. All in all a great foodie experience. Pay them a visit.

   Just had the sirloin beef Sunday dinner n I can honestly say that beef is absolutely bostin, melt in the mouth! The cheesy leeks were also fantastic as was everything else on the plate, the staff were genuinely lovely, kind n thoughtful making it a great experience.... highly recommended 5⭐️s

   A spur of the moment meal out with the family on a Friday night drew us here after not having visited previously. What great food, even a brief power outage couldn't spoil it as our orders went in. We had the salmon stir fry and the mixed grill which were both amazing. For dessert we had fruit crumble and cherry and white chocolate cheesecake. All the food was really good and the service was excellent. Will definitely be visiting again

   Outstanding food and service. I couldn't fault any part of it. Will definitely be back as I'm now addicted to the gravy lol. The front of house lady was amazing she managed to squeeze me and my girlfriend in after all the bookings were confirmed. I love finding little gem's like this where you'd miss it if you blinked going past.

   The service was impeccable. Everybody was friendly, efficient, seem like they genuinely wanted to be there. The food was very nice. I had the Roasted loin of lamb with a red wine & rosemary sauce served with dauphinoise potatoes & seasonal the lamb was tender. The potato was soft, fluffy creamy on the inside and crispy on the outside and the gravy was rich and tasty and my husband has Roast Shropshire Turkey the turkey was moist and succulent roast potatoes crispy and Inot your usual eat out roast potatoes, more like home-cooked roast potatoes. overall great experience. The only thing that let it down was the doorbell noise. every time food was ready it just took a little bit away from the experience.

   came here a few weeks ago and it was fantastic. all five of us thoroughly enjoyed the starters, mains and desserts. the service was amazing, the staff were friendly and made us feel very welcome and everything was cooked and presented beautifully. booked to come again, worth every penny!

   Very nice food in a pleasant atmosphere, staff friendly and prices reasonable. The soup of the day was particularly delicious. The marsala fish was rather hot, but still nice.
