   This place is outstanding! From the warm welcome at reception by a lovely lady named Elaine, I felt comfortable and at ease. The care I received from Sam Reid I can hand on heart say I have never experienced anything like it. Sam is professional, personable & genuinely cares. Sam went above & beyond to put my mind at rest & demonstrates pride & compassion effortlessly. Thank you Sam, because of you I know I am in safe hands & all will be sorted.    This was my first ever surgery, and the entire team at Woodthorpe Hospital made it an exceptionally positive experience. Every member of staff was kind, caring, and attentive, and I felt genuinely well looked after throughout my time there. The consultant and anaesthetist were very professional, informative, and understanding. The nurses and the team in the pre-operative anaesthetic room were particularly supportive, helping me stay calm and easing my nerves before the procedure. During the operation, the nurse who stayed by my side and spoke with me was an absolute star — her presence made the time pass quickly and kept me completely at ease. I truly could not have asked for a better first surgical experience. Thank you to everyone at Woodthorpe Hospital for your outstanding care :)

   I have just returned home after a total hip replacement - a hugely positive experience, despite pre-op reservations. The staff were all amazing, friendly, efficient and caring. Raymond my Nurse and the whole team went above and beyond - actually making the experience enjoyable. While I hardly saw the consultant, he obviously did an excellent job - little pain the day after and no issues. Thank you to all involved.

   I have just had a successful total right hip replacement at the Woodthorpe Hospital which was done by the Surgeon Sachin Badhe. I went in on Sunday 21st September and returned home the following day. From the moment I first stepped (more like limped) into this hospital I just knew that I had chosen the right place for my treatment and care. Everyone involved at all levels has been professional and friendly and looked after me so attentively during my stay. I was overthinking things too much prior to going in probably because I have never had an operation before and was fearing the unknown. I absolutely need not have worried and was reassured every step of the way during the whole process. Communication is first class here and nothing seems too much trouble in making sure you understand everything that is happening. With grateful thanks to my surgeon, the theatre team and all the nurses for looking after me so wonderfully - Ben, Michelle, Lucy and Gen to name but a few and not forgetting Bev on the catering side who always made sure I had my little pot of herbal tea to accompany the delicious food! Thank you also to the lovely physio. Dimple who breezed into my room early on Monday morning to begin work on my exercise programme. I genuinely feel this hospital is run like a well oiled machine and would have no hesitation in recommending it to anyone who is considering having treatment here. I am in my early 60's and have struggled with severe arthritis for too long but now I can really look forward to the future with so much more positivity.

   Dr was fantastic, building was clean. Amazing staff... Apart from the receptionist on gynecology (think called Lucy) she was kind enough to other patients, but was rude, cold and snappy with me. Going for a vaginal examination is scary enough without having someone rolling their eyes and making you feel unwelcome.

   had a NHS referred MRI scan and the MRI staff were the BEST ever! they were so friendly and kind :D especially the lady I saw this morning!! she was so nice even though I was scared! And the receptionist was also really friendly when I walked in as well!

   I attended Woodthorpe Hospital on 19/11/22 for a minor hand operation on a day case basis. From my first step inside the Hospital I was greeted with a very warm welcome by the receptionist. I was shown to my room and from then on every single member of staff were so attentive and professional. My Consultant was Mr Kovacs who has actually operated on me on two previous occasions. He was absolutely wonderful yet again thank you. I cannot praise him enough because he is such a good Surgeon. One of my previous operations was also carried out at Woodthorpe Hospital in April 2021 and once again every member of staff were exceptional. One of the nurses called Julia actually went above & beyond to help me after my surgery. I was an NHS patient and I would not hesitate recommending this Hospital. My sincere thanks to all of you.
