I needed to attend the urgent treatment centre as I felt I had a chest infection and thought that I maybe had flu. The waiting room was busy but I was soon triaged and put through as an emergency patient. A bay was found for me as sole occupant in the Emergency Assessment Unit (as it was thought I may have flu). I stayed 2 nights and every single member of staff at every level cared for me to a very high standard. I felt humbled that all the staff worked so hard to make my stay as comfortable as possible. Thank you so much all of you for everything you did for me. We need and love you NHS!

Absolutely shocking. Attended today with my father for an operation due to bladder cancer. We were told we couldn’t wait on surgical ward 2 despite it clearly being labelled 2 visitors to a bed. We were taken to a family room on surgical 1, to then be told we couldn’t stay as they wanted to clean the floor. We’ve waited hours so far, in a car, in freezing conditions as there’s no where for us to “stay”. Bearing in mind the diagnosis of cancer and it’s a serious operation, there’s been zero consideration that my father might actually want some family around him for support, nor any conservation shown to us. This hospital is an absolute pit.

Visited yesterday as I was advised to have a CT scan by my GP. Upon arrival the UTC was calm and quiet. I was triaged within minutes and within five hours I was back home having had blood tests, three separate and comprehensive consultations and the aforementioned CT scan. Absolutely fantastic experience, made so mainly by Dr Razmandeh, who had the best approach and all round personality. Thank you! 10/10

I had minor surgery on both of my hands today 19/8/25 .I arrived at 07.30 as requested and from then on nursing staff at all levels also the staff in theatre 1 were friendly, courteous , and helpful they could not do enough to make my time at the hospital as pleasant as was possible. The entire experience could only be described as Outstanding, two other men were on the ward and there treatment was identical in all respects, courtesy and kindness was shown at all times. Outstanding care.

First time to the hospital and I have to say it was a great experience. Easy to park and fortunately a lovely member of staff saw my confused look, he was quite happy to take me to the right department, even though he wasn’t on duty yet. Got to my appointment early and was seen by the breast screening nurse straight away. Quite possibly one of the least uncomfortable mammograms I’ve ever had. In and out and back to the car in 22 minutes. Amazing service. Thank you. Could possibly do with more signage outside the hospital, as map was not that obvious.

Staff at A&E were excellent. Care and attention was very prompt from booking in to seeing a doctor and nurses. Several tests were done and all the results were explained very clearly. I came away feeling very confident with the treatment I had received. Thank you A&E and Ambulatory Care.

Worst experience ever! we went to GP out office hours around 9pm.The GP gave me a prescription to collect it to the pharmacy. We drove to the pharmacy and they said the prescription hasn't arrived yet. We came back to the hospital and they said they just sent it now to the pharmacy ( very rude way). So we drove back to the pharmacy, they checked in my system that they just cancelled my prescription 2 minutes ago!! unbelievable, my chest infection getting worst because of this and it was 10pm!! Avoid at all cost! They dont deserve stars at all!

Staff at A&E are absolutely amazing. I’ve had to take my daughter on 3 occasions over the last 2 years. Always seen quickly. Staff have always been attentive, patient and caring. Knowing how much pressure they must be under it really has been very much appreciated. So thankful to have this service nearby.

Thank you to everyone at Grantham hospital for the care I was given in A and E on Saturday 5th November. From reception to nursing staff everyone was very kind and supportive. I particularly want to mention Doctor Maria. She made a frightening experience for a nervous patient very comforting and her treatment was exemplary. Thank you Grantham hospital and NHS
