Why does no one answer the phone there? I placed an order for delivery this afternoon for between 5 and 6pm. Sill waiting at 9.21pm. They use Deliveroo. The tracking on my phone said order completed.Rubbish. I think the Deliveroo driver took it home as it hasn’t been traced anywhere. I’m making a formal on Monday

Many of the good quality products that I have always enjoyed are disappearing and the quality that I have always associated with Coop is blatantly declining. Additionally, there is usually no one at the tills to serve as they are obviously more committed to shelf stacking. This, to me indicates that they are running staff levels low to economise on costs and results in poor service and a lack of consideration to customers, which falls in line with most other supermarkets who have no obligation or regard for building trust or loyalty. Coop used to be the last- bastion of hope but it seems that now they have finally succumbed to capitalistic- greed, complacency and ignorance, with staff and management that seem to struggle with providing the basics of good service. I shop there very reluctantly and always expect disappointment.

Women told us the whole street tills was done so was got cash out. Was just the coop Tesco and Starbucks r fine. And ignored my friend when she was tryna talk to her. And then seemed moody. Always really rude in there.

So much better than the tesco or sainsburys on Mutley plain. Good stock selection and plenty of offers.

I am vegetarian and wanted to grab a meal deal from the freezer but they just had fish which even after talking to the manager And customer service haven't been able to help me. I felt discriminated and left out as a person who decided not to eat animals. I have been in co-ops before where the manager just swamped the non vegi option for some vegi burgers out but it's a hit and miss. In my eyes very poor of co-op and in future trying not to support a company like that. I rather go to Aldi they are amazing with their offers on vegetarian options!

LOVE this little emporium! TINY corner shop type place, packed to the rafters with almost everything you could ever need or want! Lots of reductions and deals. Super friendly, helpful staff who have truly gone the extra mile with their excellent implementation of Covid safety measures . Prices higher than the larger stores but very long opening times, up to 9pm in the evening.
