Disappointing experience with the reception staff. I called on behalf of someone else to ask for an appointment and was given an appointment but I asked if it could be later. I was told that “you can’t pick and choose” and that you get what you’re given, which came across as unnecessarily blunt and unprofessional. A bit of basic courtesy and empathy would have gone a long way.

I recently moved to this practic and I cannot praise the practice enough, the receptionists have been so helpful, and the drs I have seen - dr Cockburn, dr Rosie, dr Biklu and Dr Griffiths on duty have been kind , caring and I have felt listened too. I would highly recommend this practice.

I have always had outstanding service for many years from reception, nurses and doctors at this practice both by phone or face to face. I would not go anywhere else. Above and beyond from all staff. Keep up the good work.

This is without doubt, the worst healthcare practice I have ever been to, in my life. The problem? The rude and incompetent receptionist. I have never come across someone so nasty, so abrupt, so ignorant, and so rude. They go out of their way to stonewall you from getting an appointment, even when you beg for a telephone appointment due to needing a referral for a lump that's been found, they put a stop to it. This is the definition of medically negligent practice. I don't even blame the receptionists, I blame the practice manager. Many people have left reviews here and expressed their misfortune of having to deal with the receptionist, but management continually choose to not listen and just turn a blind eye. If someone gets a life threatening illness, and it's found that you prevented a patient from getting treatment, good luck defending that in court. I shall be escalating my complaint to the Health Service Ombudsman and Castle Healthcare can explain their actions to them.

I’ve just visited the practice on spec to ask for some results from blood tests a family member recently had. I was told by Dr Bilkhu on the day the bloods were taken that no news was good news so it wasn’t unexpected that I might need to follow up if I wanted to see the actual results. Sarah on reception was kind, fast, efficient and dealt with this and two other queries as quickly as possible before moving on to help other patients. (Dr Bilkhu was also great on the day.) As patients we all know there are numerous issues with the NHS but all I’ve seen from this particular practice so far is kindness and efficiency. Thank you all!

Not a good first visit but followed signs to disabled parking and walked to the lift only to find it doesn’t work. Longer walk around the front of the building to reception ( good job I’m not badly disabled ) , to be advised that the lift doesn’t work at weekends. Very unfriendly receptionist had to repeat the same message three times whilst I was waiting . Not even sure this lack of access at weekends is legal but, when I suggested they put a sign up - was told she doesn’t work for the company !! Not good at all

I feel like this is my second home at the minute with children always poorly. I cannot fault this practice at all. They always call back and see us on the same day if need be. The doctors are brilliant. The NHS are snowed under at the minute and they are not credited enough for their hard work, long hours and passion for their patients.

Brilliant service all the time. The Doctors are great, the nurses are great. Very competent, very knowledgeable, great advice. My health has improved due to the advice and guidance I have received at this practice lately. My daughter was seen within hours the day we asked for an appointment. The range of services they provide is exemplary. I can't understand why some people reviewing are so perturbed? The receptionists are always polite, considerate and professional - what more could anyone want? Try getting the same level of care in another country - FREE.
