   I’ve had a good experience at this GP. Of course like other practices its difficult to get an appointment, but all the practitioners and staff are very friendly. Dr. Waldron is very compassionate and understanding and doesn't treat you like another number, he is knowledgeable and really seems like he cares about his patients and truly listens. I’d like to thank the doctors and staff at this centre for the hard work they do.

   Can never get an appointment when needed, system always says 'not tsking request at the minuet' and phone ques are mad. Dont know what i'm suppose to do. My hospital consultant states i need to discuss something with the gp first and can never get an appointment. Staff are understanding and polite.

   Phoned at 8 o'clock, 24 in the queue,was kept on hold until 9.50 when the call was cut off. Went to the desk to be told to phone at 8 o'clock tomorrow. This practice is not fit for purpose and should be closed forthwith.

   Some staff are very good efficient but unfortunately recently staff are not doing their jobs continually being asked for repeat prescriptions and not issuing them having to ask up 6 times and still not issuing leaving patients without important medication. Staff abrupt and not wiling to help. Also very hard to get GP appointments. This practice needs urgent staff re training

   Waiting on hold for 2hrs when I call at 8am then say there's no appointments available. Receptionists acts like they are thr doctors wanting to be asking personal questions

   Moved to bulwell and had to move my practice. I wish I didn't have a horrid experience. Reception staff are rued and doesn't matter what you do it seems impossible to see a GP in person

   Receptionist today was rude abrupt. Asked for all my details,, name DOB etc and then told me they were only seeing urgent cases. Not liking to give my symptoms to receptionists, especially rude ones, I did anyway thinking maybe I was wrong about her and she could assess the urgency. I said I had a lump on the side of my head that was giving me headaches. Her response to me was again, "is it urgent?". How should I know? It could be urgent or it could be benign. It's why I phoned up, to get it assessed. And because I had a "future" appointment already booked for the next day she said i wasn't allowed 2 appointments, which is nonsence, especially when I have 2 seperate things to see the GP about and they don't like it when you talk about 2 things in one session. She spoke to me like I was a child to cover her own inability to assess. Really it's 50/50 as to whether you get a polite thoughtful receptionist or not. I have had some nicer ones answer before but she wasn't one of them. I would go to another practice but there are few choices available and also because I have a regular GP there who now knows me and I don't wish to begin anew with another. They should be more selective over who they employ on the phones and desk. Hire folks who don't treat and speak to patients as though they're either children or cattle. Formal with no personal touch. Officious. It's a business at the end of the day and they don't try to hide it.

   I moved here from Leen View. Been at Parkside for over a year now and never had any problems. They offer appointments in advance, they are open in the afternoon if the phone lines are too busy first thing and everyone has been really friendly. It's not even an exaggeration to say that moving to this doctors has made my life a lot easier.
