Stayed here loads of times and never had a problem. It's location is very central and it's cheap. Some of the rooms are better than others but it's only somewhere to sleep. The staff are very polite and helpful

Came for a night to go to the winter wonderland. Was very close to as it was only a 3 minute walk and that was a positive. The room was not good! The corner stank the carpet was dirty and being ripped up in places. There was a window pointing directly onto the bed and other people opposite us. We found online about this hostel allowing under 18s and when we got here we were told we weren’t allowed into the room until parental consent was done which that would be okay if it was sent straight away we waited at least 15 minutes after already being tired and wanting to rest. The internet was also appalling. We connected our phones to the WiFi and they still hardly worked from our room (treehouse) however worked from downstairs sometimes. The laptop wouldnt even connect the signal was so bad, the tv was also in a horrible spot you could hardly see it from the bed. The toilets at one time during the night stopped working. Whilst being clean since it was a shared bathroom it wasn’t very hygienic and the and the flush gave up and someone’s feces was in the toilet waiting for me. When trying to sleep at night I heard constant banging until 1 in the morning and then further many people running around until at least 4 as the walls were so thin, didn't actually manage to get a nice nights sleep. I went to Birmingham a month ago and a 4 star hotel cost me only £10 more than this toom. Not worth it at all didn’t even get time to sleep or simmer down and watch some tv. When leaving there was no one there to complain to the desk was completely empty at 1030 leaving time. Would not recommend and will not be coming back ever again!

Excelent location, near market Square tram station, it has a Sainsbury's local by the door, and a lot of stores, coffee shops, Wetherspoons. The staff was amazing, really helpful and nice. The room wasn't bad, it is a Hostel, however it felt overpriced. The shared bathroom was spot on clean, as the room.

I planned a trip for my university society group of 30. The booking process with Igloo Hybrid was organised and well communicated. The manager as well as staff very accomodating prior to our arrival as well as on arrival. It was a lovely, clean area with cutely decorated room and REALLY CLEAN BATHROOM! We were all pleased with the cleanliness of the place- our biggest fear is bathrooms when going on these tours using hostels. The location itself was perfect, walking distance to food, club, bars and bus stop to go Uni of Notts. I would definitely recommend this place to group travellers as well as other travellers :) Thank you!

Great two star hotel. Great location. No fuss rooms with TV. Large shared kitchen with fridge and chill room which is great. Washing-up sink :-) Carpeting and floor dirty on second level. In places, flooring needs replacing. Polyester bedding musty and in need of replacement. Noise from the Bierkeller next door. Our room was the Boat Room.

Great place. Staff friendly and room was clean and comfortable. It's not a posh hotel, so don't expect one. I felt relaxed and comfortable here. It is city centre which is really convenient but there is some pub noise and music in the background.

Unfortunately I never got the chance to stay in this hotel because of a national rail strike, so I had to cancel my booking. But the staff was amazing, they gave me all the info to try to get to Nottingham and they refunded me when I had to cancel my stay last minute. Many thanks especially to Mark, he was so kind and helpful, I really appreciated it!

Stayed for just one night but would happily spend a week. Spotless, comfortable, private room with loads of space. Quirky place with great facilities (including a proper kitchen in the shared areas) and 30 seconds walk to the Market Square. This will be my first choice next time I'm staying in Nottingham.

Good bed for the night, nice and simple but with a little flare in decoration. Just off from the square so ideal location for a night out. We did get woken by church bells but it only started at 8am so not the end of the world.

Loved it..tucked away off the main street but makes everywhere accessible on a trip out. Cross between a hotel and hostel style with shared communal area facilities. Rooms are simple but well done with good quality bedding and comfy beds. The room had its own bathroom just outside on the landing, they are also to a good standard. Hot water for coffee is available in a flask at bottom of stairs, this is the only reason I deducted a star as would prefer kettle in room. Outdoor seating area nicely designed too and the staff couldn't be more helpful
