Our daughterβs sensory assessment is one of the most valuable reports we have. Itβs picked up lots of things we werenβt aware of and it means we have a much better understanding of our daughterβs behaviour and needs. It will also be incredibly helpful when she goes to school. It will form part of our application for an EHC assessment and means we can ask for specific support to be put in place before she starts. Everyone we spoke to at CST was friendly, empathic and very knowledgeable. We are particularly grateful to Jen, who did a brilliant job of explaining the report to us and to our daughterβs nursery, and talking through how we can help her. Thank you

From start to finish, an excellent service provided for both parents and children. The therapists understanding and knowledge was presented in the simplest of terms for easy understanding by parents and the services provided for the child were outstanding. The progress and improvements in the child could be seen week on week and the therapist has provided a comprehensive program to continue even after the therapy sessions finish.

We were having a number of issues with our local council, after obtaining an EHCP, in applying for a place in a special school for our son who has complex needs. The council would not detail his functional and sensory needs on his plan, without an Occupational Therapy report. We decided to enlist the help of Children's Sensory Therapy Ltd for a comprehensive assessment of our son's sensory needs, functional needs and detailed recommendations to be included in his plan. We were assigned the Occupational Therapist Jenny Quinn. If I had to describe Jenny in one word, it would be "amazing" - Jenny was the first professional to take the time to really understand our son's complex sensory needs. Jenny wrote an extremely detailed report that was produced within days of her assessment of our son. She has a warm and empathic approach and my son still speaks fondly about meeting her. She went above and beyond in the support she offered, including writing a supporting letter for travel assistance to a special school and providing useful contacts. Following submitting the report and supporting letter, our son was offered a place at our preferred, local, special needs school and has been found eligible for travel assistance to and from the school. Without any hesitation I would recommend Jenny and her team.

Very impressed with the Children's Sensory Therapy service. From first contact through to assessment and accessing the therapy work they have been so professional. It was obvious from the assessment report and from our interactions with Jenny that she understood our son and the challenges he faces. She shared her knowledge and experience with us in a way that was easy for us to understand and put into practice. She built a very good relationship with our son and he loved the sessions. We could see through the sessions how he benefitted from the activities and we now have a much clearer idea of what helps him in terms of managing his emotions. The work was also helpful in that she supported other professionals to help support our son effectively. Really glad that we were able to access this specialist service.

We have received an outstanding level of expertise and commitment from our CST therapist. I highly recommend their services to any family with children who have sensory processing problems. The therapy has given me a much greater understanding of my child's needs and has provided me with new skills in dealing with difficult situations. This is the best intervention I have had as an adoptive parent, over the last 10 years of caring for my children.

Sensory Attachment Intervention has been a complete game-changer for me and my two adopted daughters. Our therapist, Jenny, is the most informed and helpful professional I have come across in my eight years as an adoptive parent. The therapy that she delivered was excellent, she is kind, approachable and fun and my kids loved seeing her. She educated and supported me 100% through the process. As a result, I now understand and can meet my children's emotional and sensory needs much better and we have professional reports which have been key to obtaining SEN support in school (i.e. EHCPs for both children). Jenny has really helped my family to move forward, thank you!
