The representative (Kal) was very professional, mannerable and efficient. The loan process was straight forward and time effective. I commend the WCCU for being an effective and supportive organisation to the residents of Wolverhampton.

Joined in 2013 so been with them a long time. Was very good at first but as everyone else is doing there allowing computers and robots to make decisions so always being declined. Was told by a lady called deb to call up when wanting another loan and I will be given a loyalty loan to then be told by others there's no such thing. Even though they brag about it on there site decisions made by humans not computers LIES. We reward Loyalty LIES. There opening times are pathetic also.
Terrible. Partner passed away asked for loan for help with funeral and was told no. I explained my circumstances I was still told no. Never defaulted on my loans, the amount is taken from my wages. No sympathy and compassion. WCU is not the same. Your online system is failing people
Partner applied for a top up loan. On website it says decision will be made within 48 hours. 8 days later and still no decision. Told to be patient and someone will be in touch shortly. That was 3 days ago. The place is a joke
useless staff and pointless contacting methods as youll almost never get a response only if you lucky! Tried emailing 4 times as money was needed in a food emergency and electricity and they still have not replied, although i have seen people there just sitting down chatting whilst also on their phones. No regards for people that actually NEED something done and no respect to no one other than themselves. They only care and respond promptly when you owe them money or want to pay more towards your loan. Will soon be cancelling this and getting an actual bank that wont fool around like say peoples money and situations are a joke. Also me as an individual would get more work done than any of them combined.
Been a loyal customer for nearly 15 years. In that time never missed or deferred a payment. Loans always paid back no fuss. This year I apply and get declined citing “as a caring and responsible lender we will not lend to our members if we think there is a risk of them getting into problem debt.” Well now I’ll need to borrow from elsewhere paying back who knows what on top. I feel very let down this year… very disappointed
I'm really upset with credit union there driving there members to end up having loans from loan sharks, when originally they were there to make sure you didn't have to do that. Plus your basically told sorry your not having a loan so tough go away and we will not be talking to you about it.. Very upset about that. I've called so many times but they weren't joking they really don't want to talk to you..
