I would love to put a 5* but personally the experiance has been far from, we rang around estate agents at the beginning and had 5 people come to value the house, reeds was the second to last they told us a bonkers high price and said that it would sell in a matter of a few weeks. We was over the moon and rang them back to get the go ahead the lady who come the first time come again to sign everything with us and it started the process, after we had all the pictures taken it took a further week before we had anyone come to view, this was the case from then untill now seems they get one person a week sometimes no people to have a look and it's just included in a list of houses they are going to see that day. I had to ring them to see what's going on and to drop the price when speaking to them they told me the person who come round left. So to me it seems like she was just gaining a little more commission before leaving the place, months on we are still having no visitors to 1 per week we have had to show people around ourselves due to reeds not having the staff just seems when i read the reviews that people get treated very differently it's a shame as I did originally like these. The estate agent who was showing people around had no clue to where things was and could not give answers to the visiting people and was also saying the price is too high and to make a low ball offer if they was interested. They seem to agree with the potential buyers about anything negative instead of showing them a different bright point about the subject, these guys should be selling the house not using it as a list filler to keep us with them. The house is still not sold I will update this review when it is to give more detail about what had happened during the process.
Matt, Tracey, Ellie and Abbey are clearly a tight team. Whoever answered the phone seemed to know my house move inside out, sidestepping the annoyance of having to repeat 'the story so far'. Instead, what I got was a positive, polite and professional service, irrespective of the issues. I was really glad to have them in my corner as they took solicitors to task and got the sale and moving process over the line. The difference it makes to be able to rely on motivated and empathetic people is enormous. Moving house isn't an easy process but the staff at Reeds Rains did so much to help us get through it. I would recommend them above any other estate agent I've ever used - without hesitation.
I bought my first house through Reeds Rains Eastwood and all of the team I spoke with were absolutely brilliant. Matt especially really helped me to chase up issues that seriously affected our house buying process. He was such a star in getting things moving during the COVID 19 pandemic, and always communicated with me to keep me in the loop. They are extremely helpful, professional and responsive. I will never use another estate agent. These guys are spot on and I have had such a great experience. I just wish I had used their in house mortgage advisor as she was also lovely and gave me the best advice I had received during my house buying process. I will always speak highly of this team and forever recommend them to everyone!
When we had a property to sell, a friend recommended Reeds Rains, Eastwood, as he said Tracy Williamson and other staff were good at communications and returning phone calls.When we met Mathew we chose his sensible valuations over other estate agents. When there were delays towards the end of the sale process Mathew showed the necessary determination to get the sale completed. We would agree with our friend in recommending Reeds Rains, Eastwood.
From our initial valuation to the final completion day we had a thoroughly professional service from Chloe, Billie and their team. The standard of the photographer Malcolm was amazing, we had two agents working to sell the property and the Reeds Rains photographs were 100% better than the other agents. All of the staff we dealt with got back to us quickly if we needed an answer and their advice was excellent. They marketed the property so well, resulting in them achieving our sale. We couldn't be happier and would recommend them wholeheartedly.
