You need to train your staff how to use a phone. Both answering and how to dial. Try to ring and find out info on a patient but no answer. Also drove to the hospital to see a family member only to find out they had been moved to another hospital. Not even a phone call to let the family know.

Couldn't recommend this hospital enough, Sharon on ward E was particularly fantastic. Kind and caring, basically everything you need when unwell. 10 out of 10 x

Visited the Minor Injuries Clinic today and was seen by a lady called Joan! She was great at putting me at ease, cleaning my wound and administering tetnis jab along with giving me follow up guidance for treating my injury! Altogether I was in and out within about 30 minutes! Thank you!!

I want to preface this by saying that none of this is anyone’s fault except the constant mismanagement and underfunding of public health services as a whole. I came here hoping a ‘smaller’ hospital would hopefully have less of a wait time after seeing the avg. wait time on the NI direct website listed as lower than Victoria or City. Unfortunately I was wrong. I started waiting at around 7pm in the emergency department and was seen by a triage nurse less than an hour into my wait. There were no seats so I had to make do with sitting on the floor after I was seen. I was sat on the floor for the entire duration of my wait. The triage nurse did routine questions and a blood pressure test but did not advise me on the next steps, which is fine, but would have been nice to be aware of what I would next be doing. The triage was as far as I got. I was there until around 3am, and was unaware of any water machines in the small A&E room (I may have missed this, though!), which was cold and incredibly bright. Another woman had been there for longer than me and was yelling in pain, loudly, everytime she had to use the bathroom. She also left early. I gave up at 3am, after being told I would have around another 2 hours minimum to wait, and tried Ulster the next day. I was triaged immediately, had my bloods taken & an ECG done within an hour and a half, and was sent home after being seen by a doctor within approximately 4 hours with a follow-up call scheduled for the next week.

Well car parking. Easy to get to but not easy to pay. No paypoints in the car park. So if like me you are dropping someone off fir an appointment and want to wait in the car. Think again. To get out of the car park you have to walk all the way into the main reception to get to the pay point. Which is located near the cloisters coffee shop. Oh and no coffee shop on the weekend. See my pics

My only complaint is that the Chapel was closed. I needed a bit of quiet time and according to the website the Chapel should have been open. It had a chain and padlock on the doors!

I was at the hospital earlier today having a procedure done. I'm a very nervous patient but everyone there was delightful and went out of their way to keep me informed what was being done and why. All the staff are angels and l wish it was in my power to give them all immediate pay rises. Money wouldn't pay them for all they do

Would give less than one star if I could. My Father was admitted on Thursday and as of yet I have not had any contact from the Hospital.. I have phoned the ward several times only to be told that his named Nurse is on a break but will phone me within 1/2 hr.. Three days and several phone calls later I am still waiting on that call... Now when I phone the call is just ended from the other end .

Went to visit my sister on the dementia ward.and honestly the nurses r very good.we young foreign nurses lovely we girls.but they r not giving old patients any dignity.they pulled a mans pj bottoms down a bit to give him an injection in his tummy and the whole ward could see. There was another dementia lady patient who they were putting into bed and the whole ward could see she had a nappy on.please please give these patients some dignity and pull the curtains round.thats what they are there for.(MORE TRAINING URGENTLY NEEDED FOR THESE YOUNG GIRLS)
