As a family we have dealt with Peter Betteridge for many years. We have bought various beds and lazy-boy chairs and most recently a mattress plus smaller items. Always very helpful and knowledgeable and good service. Would highly recommend.

very friendly and helpful service when choosing a mattress...good knowledge of the different beds which were all of good quality. It arrived within a couple of weeks from order and i had the option of picking it up from a warehouse in Paington rather than the shop in Kingsbridge which was a lot better for me. A home delivery option was also available but my house is tricky for a big lorry to get to. My daughter says the mattress is very comfortable with good back support.
Everything arrived in good order and we were able to put everything together with some help from some Italian friends who are a little younger (and stronger) than we are. We are extremely happy with everything. Thank you so much for working with me on the export and delivery to Italy. It all went without a hitch. The headboards look great and the divans and mattresses are, as I would expect from Vi-spring, supremely comfortable.
I'm really impressed with this sofa bed! It's surprisingly comfortable as a sofa—much more than I expected from a typical sofa bed. The mattress is also great for sleeping, offering solid support and comfort. I love the color and the material; it looks stylish and feels high-quality. It's also very practical: easy to clean, stays cool in the heat, and keeps warm in colder weather. Overall, it's a fantastic combination of form, function, and comfort.

I ordered an item online. Delivery was very speedy. Unfortunately I needed to return the item due to wrong size chosen. The customer service was very pleasant and polite, they informed me when they received returned item back and when refund will be issued. The only downside is that return postage is not free, although I can see how that can be cost inefficient selling bulky items.
Absolutely appalling customer service - simply unreal. After sleeping the Ritz Hotel in Paris, we fell in love with the Mühldorfer pillows which we were able to find online. We purchased 2 pillows from Peter Betteridge "Bed Expert" around 20th March and over a month later, received a very large packaging box with only one pillow inside - even though the paper/invoice inside stated the quantity was 2. We called immediately to let them know and they said they would ship immediately that day or the following Monday, which I accepted. Then out of the blue, I got an email saying that they had asked the person who packed the order and that person had confirmed that he or she had indeed packed 2 pillows. They also said they checked the weight of the package which they concluded "would. be impossible if it was only 1 pillow shipped". Needless to say, the aggression and audacity from this company is incredible - not only did they deflect responsibility for the error, but on top, they insulted the customer by effectively calling me a liar based on wrong assumptions. I have no desire to engage in any further actions with this company, as I feel it will result in disproportionate stress versus a £100 pillow (which also hurts given I paid for the item so I should get it! But after experiencing the way they treated me, I have no belief they would correct this situation anyway). Be warned and consider your decision well before you deal with this company, especially if you are purchasing high value goods. Avoid the disappointment, frustration and disrespect at all costs.
This is a good place to buy your bedding. Good service reasonable price. Very comfortable bed.
