   Shoutout to Melanie at Matalan — she is AMAZING! She turned what should’ve been a quick boring shop into such a nice experience. Melanie was extremely professional and went above and beyond to help me find what I needed. Her customer care is outstanding, and she made my shopping experience smooth and enjoyable. Melanie was super friendly, super helpful, and just lovely. Give this woman a raise!! Highly recommend!

2. Bunch of Crazies 5.2 ★★★★★

   Great shop, nice big and airy Good selection of baby and children's clothes and accessories. Then you move into the adult women's selection, at the moment is all about what to wear for your xmas party, sequins and christmas slogans. Then move to the shoes and boots, through to the men's and finishing up in the homeware. Have fun. Take a trolley or basket you may regret it if you dont!!

   I visited the store today for an online collection & purchased a few bits. Whilst I collected my order I asked to pay for the items I was told to use self scan tills, as I was already on the till I asked the lady (Nadia) if I could just pay here as I was already on the till. She refused and said its for card only payments, which I then explained I am using card payment method. She then proceeds to get a Matalan card & scans it i explained kidnly I would not like a Matalan card & she insisted then proceeds to pick up my items rudely and moves them onto self scan till without communication or speaking. All this purely because I did not want a Matalan card. Poor customer service rude staff. Avoid this store. Even the colleague I spoke with said they are told by management to do this. If this is the case Matalan needs to sort it out!

   Had a great experience shopping here. Ms Julie, a staff in this branch was extremely helpful, kind, and patient in helping me choose the right size and type for my outfit from the stock that was available in the branch at the time. I'm very satisfied with her service!

   This particular Matalan has really gone down hill. One particular member of staff is extremely rude. I have made a formal complaint so can only hope it gets back to her. There are only two parent & child spaces available outside this store, this particular member of staff thought it was absolutely fine to park in one of these spaces to attend work, when I confronted her about this, her response was “yeah it’s fine with me” and walked off and carried on with her day. Let’s just say, I was SHOCKED. I haven’t been back since & don’t intend on doing so which is a shame because I like Matalan as a store.

   The worse shopping experience, the shop was nearly empty and I can that other people struggle to make sense of the clothes on offer. The biggest size clothes on the men side is 40 although a large portion of the population is 40 + which means that we have no reason to revisit again. My 3+ yrs old daughter needed to use the toilet. The respond I got from a very sleepy sales assistant directed us to the carpark. We left behind the shoes my girl agreed to take and walked out to use the carpark as a toilet. Being 3yrs old, she has to go right now. Overall, I don't think that we'll visit again in the near future.
