Absolutely awful clinic! Waiting ages for a child psychiatrist or psychologist. When I telephone they are either not available or I am greeted by a very rude unhelpful receptionist. I will take my self funding money and go elsewhere. Can't imagine what help a child could get from this place if that is how their reception staff are.

Terrible services. I contacted the psychiatrist to make an appointment ( as advised by the receptionist) via emails ( twice or three times), sent the referral letter from my GP and received no response ever! The matter was very serious and urgent. I was ready to pay any amount to get the appointment. I have been totally ignored. No explanation at all. Avoid at all costs!

As someone with disabilities, I find that Malone Medical Chambers has been very unaccomodating this last year. I paid £130 for an apppointment on a Wednesday for an appointment on Saturday. In order for me to get an appointment to be booked in, I had to pay and send confirmation of the payment. I paid, sent them a sreenshot of the payment I made and received a simple "Thank you for sending the confirmation of your payment" within minutes of the payment. That's it. I received no details of the appointment as in time, whether it was in-person or remote, nothing. I waited for them to send the details and they didn't. On Friday, the day before the appointment (which is booked for Saturday) at about 1pm, I emailed them for a link to the appointment as I confirmed I wanted a virtual appointment. Lucia, possibly the administrator, responded with a Zoom link but no time for the appointment. I thought I may have misread an email but she definitely did not send me the time of the appointment. I emailed her back around 3pm asking for the time of the appointment. No response. I emailed again at 3:48 asking for the time of the appointment and cc'ed Liz Shaw who I believe is the manager of the Chambers. No response. I sent a callback through their website around 4:15pm. No response. I called Malone Medical Chambers and their calls were redirected straight to voicemail. I called five times between 3:40 and 5pm leaving two voicemails. No response. I gave two - three hours of my Friday evening to simply get the details of the time of the £130 appointment I booked. This has never happened on the NHS and they're free! This isn't the first time MMC have done this but honestly, it'll be the last time because I won't let them direspect me for a third time. Because of them, Dr Tareen has lost a client because there's no way I'm booking through them again. Now because they didn't respond to my email and clearly decided to stop working before they officilly closed at 5pm, I now have to be at my desk at 10am tomorrow and open up the Zoom link for the doctor I booked with to tell me the time of the appointment because they have staff that love taking my money and giving me deadlines for payment but not providing details of what you're actually paying for. Incredibly frustrating, ridiculous and disrespectful. I don't know if I'll be too early or too late for my appointment tomorrow but I'm so upset that my peace of mind as a paying client with disabilities is clearly something that they don't care about. So disappointed in them.

I went for a medical assessment which I paid £350 for in the beginning of July. Almost 4 months later and numerous emails requesting my appointment information, I have still not received anything. It's getting extremely frustrating as the information I was told at my appointment is vital for certain aspects of my personal life. I feel like I have been taken advantage of due to my vulnerable mental state and I've been completely ripped off. I continue to receive emails about doing surveys for them and coming to further appointments that I was told I would not need which would cost me a further £180. I just want my information and fail to see why this is so difficult to obtain.

I went here for a consultation about a previous break in my leg/foot and Dr Alistair Wilson was so helpful. Not only was he able to tell me what was wrong with my injury, he offered advice on helping it: what treatments are available, what foods to eat to lower inflammation, shoes that might help me hike without pain and even showed me stretches that would help tightened calves (unrelated to the injury, but super helpful!) He went above and beyond what I expected from a doctor - not once did I get that feeling of get in, get out. Really recommend Malone Medical Chambers and in particular Dr Alistair Wilson. Thanks again.

I called to pay my bill, and had extremely negative experience due to receptionist. My main concern and issue was the receptionist read back every detail of my bank card *loudly* in the reception area of the office. (I understand this is to avoid errors, and have no problem with clarifying the payment details) however, I wanted to be sure my bank card details would be safe. I asked (at the end) if she was in a public room, she replied "WHY?!", in an aggravated tone, instead of simply answering. I explained, I was nervous she read every detail of my bank card out loudly, to which she replied (again in an aggravated tone) "I have to repeat it so it doesn't block your card. We're on the phone". I explained, I understood the need to confirm, but I was nervous as she was in a reception area (I could hear people speaking in the background) and again, she rudely interrupted me saying "I'm in a private room" - clearly a lie, with the noise and chattering in the background. Some front of house / customer service training is *seriously* overdue here. A patient has the right to pay their bill and query the privacy of payment details without being spoken to in a rude, and frankly condescending manner. It's definitely NOT the image a private doctors office should portray, considering people are paying significantly for services, and the receptionist is often the FIRST impression at the end of the day.
