   Been here several times in the past, so much to look at, not cheapest but mainly good quality. Would love to know if this place has customer toilets now as I have prostate issues and need to spend a penny every half hour, for that reason I can no longer go out to shops where I know I could get caught short. Both frustrating, embarrassing and perks of getting old. .

   This branch in Tavistock is in the middle of a residential area in Tavistock and continues to think it’s acceptable to make noisy Deliveries from 3am - 4:45am every week. When I complained to the store manager Emily Arundel twice now about this and how they shouldn’t be doing this outside of 11pm - 8am quite time zones she rudely told me “well this is a business so we can do what we want and we have had no other complaints apart from you. My MD said what do you expect if there are businesses in the area”. For 30-40 minutes all you hear through your windows is a man dragging a pallet truck in and out of the Lawsons car park. They have zero respect for the residents in the area. They are a garden furniture shop not a hospital or a medical site selling life saving medical devices. I have placed a council noise complaint, if they continue to break these noise laws they will be fined £20,000 per event. For them it’s just a job, but for the residents here it’s their lives, the ability to sleep at night and to have a good quality of life. I will be escalating to head office also. Disgusting behaviour.

   Lawsons is where to go to get most items of hardware, such as white plastic coated mug hooks, apparently not available elsewhere in town. There isn't much that they don't sell for the home or garden, it would take multiple visits to take it all in there is so much here. There is limited on site parking, so be prepared to park elsewhere when the place is busy. Staff are knowledgable and friendly and will go the extra mile to get you what you need.

   Independent department store. I used the web site to purchase some homeware items, the customer service was very good the items arrived extremely well packaged and in a timely fashion. The store telephoned to advise me that 1 of my items wasn't available and that to advise me that my card would be reimbursed as soon as possible. All of the items were of good quality too.

   This place is way, way, way expensive, but you get quality. Long history in tge town and much loved. Pretty much all your needs are here and they have great extra touches for the home. If you have the money then this will be the place for you, otherwise try the market first.
