As a tenant, avoid Re:Lettings like the plague and do not take their superficial niceties as sincere. Everything was seamless until I moved into the property. And then they became nothing but a money grabber. Only time I ever received punctual responses was if I somehow had missed some payment. After renewing my lease, my first payment was £15 short and they issued me an immediate ultimatum. Originally, they told me the wrong gas meter and gaslighted me into not issuing a refund after topping it up. It took 3 months to sort a routine window frame issue, even having the cheek to ask me if I had fixed it myself without having the bother of going through their own contractors. Now over a month since moving out, they are holing up my deposit after issuing a fake invoice demanding I pay over £100 for a clean that evidently never took place. Once I get this returned, I’ll be actively less stressed knowing I never have to deal with Re:Lettings again.

Have rented with them twice and would recommend! My experience with them has never been rushed and they respect their clients' time (unlike some other Belfast agents). Their properties are good yet affordable. To top it off I moved out of one of their lets due to changing housemate circumstances but found myself quickly in need of another rental. If you're reading this I'm guessing you know how mad the Belfast housing market can be! I contacted Re:Lettings back with them and they were calm, helpful and were able to offer me a house within a few days, perhaps even the same afternoon but I can't quite remember.

Happy to take my money, not so happy to behave themselves and follow the rules. Keys given out to contractors to let themselves in despite being told explicitly this is unacceptable and will be let in by me, only for the contractor to let themselves in a anyway. Not very legal. Same experience as others with cleaning dealing deposits. We received new furniture which was ripped and confirmed by the landlord in receipt (we helped him bring it in the house and he himself pointed it out) only for this exact thing to be brought up as damage caused by us when leaving. Rude, unprofessional and try to treat everyone like a student so they can try and get away with things.
