Never had a bad time here which is in stark contrast to most other public pools. Good value for money.

If only the water at Central Baths was warmer for arthritis sufferers, and for people with fibromyalgia to cope with due to their sensitivities, the place would perfect in terms of location and convenience. I find I am getting chest infections, coughs, and colds if the water is too cold during the autumn/winter period, it's a shame as I might have to put my membership on hold until the warmer weather in the spring. I will give it one last try, if I catch a cold again I will have to pause my membership.

Completely ruined by one lifeguard Jayden ⚠️ His behaviour was shockingly rude, unprofessional, and outright discriminatory. From the beginning, he singled out my group people of colour and treated us completely differently than everyone else, who were all white. He repeatedly asked ONLY us if we could swim, hovered over us and stared the entire session, and made it painfully obvious that he didn’t want us there. It wasn’t about safety, it was about racism, bias, and a complete lack of respect and manners. His attitude was aggressive, condescending, and honestly disgusting. We paid the same as everyone else . We followed all the rules. The only difference was the colour of our skin and Jayden made that very clear through his actions. If he had genuine safety concerns, he could have communicated them with basic human decency. Instead, he chose to act like a power tripping bully. Jayden made us feel uncomfortable, unwelcome, and disrespected. Management needs to seriously look into his behaviour, and this facility needs to take discrimination seriously. This kind of treatment is UNACCEPTABLE and it will NOT be forgotten.

a bit disappointed how the fast lane is managed in the pool. I would usually do an 80 length swim in about an hour. this morning got out after 16. it was impossible to swim and get going. overall I do like central baths though. its a great community hub.

Great place, I have been going there since 2006 adult swimming class, gym, very reasonable centre. Free car park if using tye centre. Have to clock in at the reception. Will go again. Pricing is reasonable

I go here around 3 times a week during the day. Mix of busy and quieter times. Occasionally women seem to have a meetup and talk in middle of pool ,but most go to swim not catch up . It's a refundable £1 for locker now but can keep bags on poolside. Hairdryer I think is 20p. No vending or drink machine I don't think. Seating for spectators and you can join swim tag to monitor your progress. Clean facilities, friendly staff. Every other weekend is Gala swimming so closed to general public advertised on website.
