   My ‘wife to be’ and I were at the ‘Jesus Christ SuperStar’ performance this evening. This is a musical that I have been listening to since it’s release in the early ‘70’s. I have seen the show in the West End, Belfast Opera House, Derry and The Lisburn Arts Theatre. I’ve loved them all. But I have just sat through a couple of hours of this ‘Amature’ performance. Amature my ar@e !! It was the BEST PERFORMANCE I’ve had the pleasure to see. These young people put on such a dynamic and energetic show, it was enthralling !! The dancing, the music, the drums, organ and guitar were ALL on point. The singing ………. I couldn’t believe it. Every performer sang their hearts out. A female Jesus …………. Genius !! Neve was MAGNIFICENT !! The notes, the emotions, her acting. …….. she nearly had me crying with her. The way she lay contorted in agony at the ‘40 lashes’ scene was incredible. Judas, The Sanhedrin line up, Mary Magdeline, Peter, Pontias Pilate and Herod were ALL on point, great singing actors. I’ve never wrote a review but these guys n gals need to be applauded and I look forward to looking out for their careers blossoming. I loved it !! What a night !! What a performance !! Thank you !!

   We were looking for a last-minute Christmas Panto for our 2 year old and managed to get some seats just behind the front row. It was a small but passionate production, the main characters all really put their heart into it and our son loved it (the smaller roles were done by children 5-10yr, which really drew his focus into the show as it was more relatable). We were tempted to go a second time, but sadly, we couldn't make it. Great performance, and around 1/3 the price of the cheapest seats at Waterfront or Opera House.

   Was there to see Mother Goose with friends, good theatre, helpful staff and a fun evening with some excellent performances from all the cast. I'd like to give a mention to the band in particular, their talent as musicians was the icing on the cake for me.

   Just saw Calamity Jane, brilliant performance from all actors. Also, seasonal item ... their last Pantomime was, in my opinion, better than the Opera House. We've already booked for Jack and the Beanstalk. Big Band performance tonight..great music and singing...looking forward to Mother Goose..

   Went here to see legally blonde recently which was the second time I've seen a show at Belvoir, have to say this place never fails to impress. Have never had any issues with seating, Great refreshments during the intervals, ample parking both in the studio and in the surrounding community centre and the shows themselves are always top quality. My only criticism is that the refreshments are cash only but even at that the prices are great and I've never had any issues at all.
