I stayed at Cadleigh Manor last night, and will be back in a week. Steve and Sharon are wonderful — friendly, helpful. My room was great. And the breakfast was great. They offered far more food than I (or the other two guests) could eat.
Had a really lovely stay here. The hosts are warm, welcoming and friendly, and the room was immaculate and very comfortable. Breakfast was also excellent with a wide selection of full English and continental options.
We stayed at Cadleigh manor on the way to my sons passing out parade in Plymouth. Fabulous place, accommodation excellent and breakfast amazing. Steve was super helpful. It is the little extra touches that set Cadleigh manor apart : fresh flowers in room, fresh milk in container in the room (can’t stand that hut stuff) along with home made shortbread. Hi viz jackets provided for walk to the pub (as you walk down dark road), home made marmalade, jams and honey from the hive with breakfast. We will deffo return. I had to find somewhere to stay at short notice and I found the annexe at Cadleigh, what a find! It was just perfect, beautifully comfortable and lovely extras left for me..... homemade marmalade and shortbread, bacon, sausages and eggs! Sharon was a perfect host and couldn't have been more helpful. I had breakfast on a pretty terrace each morning looking at their beautiful garden. I would be very happy to return!
A nice stay became a truly wonderful stay in Cadleigh Manor with Steve and Sharon being exceptional hosts. Comfortable beds and delicious home sourced and cooked breakfast in a truly lovely breakfast room.Peaceful garden setting and a base fgood for trips up into Dartmoor or out to the coast to enjoy beaches. The hosts were very friendly and made our stay enjoyable and Covid safe. The rooms were very comfortable and the shortbread on arrival was wonderful and a nice touch. The breakfast was delicious with produce sourced locally or homemade - we even brought some homemade preserves back home with us. Will definitely return in the not too distant future- Mike & Gwyn
I really enjoyed my one night stay here. I had a very warm welcome and my bags carried to my room for me. There was fresh milk and plenty of tea and coffee. I had an ensuite room with a lovely shower and nice toiletries. Everything was spotlessly clean. My bed was firm with bedding high quality. There is free parking. Breakfast was excellent and very friendly and accommodating. The owners make/grow their own produce. I will definitely return here. The 5 star reviews are absolutely deserved.
We rarely revisit the same place when we travel but this is an exception. We have always found the rooms accomodated our family of 4 with ample space. They are beautifully decorated and spotlessly clean. The breakfasts are exceptional. They rear their own livestock and have their own hives and fruit trees. As a result everything from the sausages and bacon to the apple juice and preserves are made on the premises. Sharon and Steve are kind and friendly hosts. Nothing is too much trouble. This is our go to place when we stay in the area and has a well deserved reputation for excellence.
