   Ideal place to park if exploring the area south of Dudmaston or you fancy a walk up to Dudmaston along the river. Fairly big car park close to the river, however the downside is it can become muddy and full of mud quite quickly after heavy rain. There is a pay and display machine on site and its £5 to park for the day. I don't normally mind but the car park could do with tarmac or hardcore on it. Can pay by coins or phone. Not sure how rigid this is enforced either. Gate says closes around 4pm but again I'm not sure how rigid this is. No bins provided so please take your littler home and as usual these days keep your valuables locked away in the boot.

   Used the car park for many years to access the small path along the river, nothing spectacular but only one of few places along miles of stretch where you can get close to the river for a short walk and admire the sewage as it floats by. It now has a thieving parking meter just like the other sites further down the stretch toward Bewdley. Only this place offers nothing at all that anyone should have to pay for. I will just park where I like from now on and if it obstructs others or ruins verges, so be it. My freedom will not be removed for the profit or fun of scumbags at councils, trusts or greedy landowners.

   Lovely walk along the banks of the River and through woodland along a Brook then through Dudmaston and picked up a Bridleway by the Sawmill through Quatt village and back to Hampton Loade. 2 3/4 hours including getting lost for 20 mins!

   A nice peaceful place for a short walk along the river, if you don't mind sharing a field with the local cows. The brook that feeds into the river is quite small but packs a loud roar as the water cascades down. There's a nice branch off into a wooded area. We didn't go far in but it was very cool in the shade of the branches. Due to Coronavirus the pub is closed next to the car park at the moment (River & Rail) but hopefully not too much longer. It looked very inviting.
