   Great place to spend a bank holiday, there is a railway museum a short walk from the car park , all day parking is £3.50. There is mini golf - bring your own golf sticks and balls. The innovation visitors centre is worth a look, you can buy food for the ducks in the gift shop, and you can buy artwork here, There is a very nice park for kids, and there is a centre for water sports .

   Had my first ever open water swim and loved the experience. I will return! Very helpful people. Provided me with swim hat and float soo I could be spotted! The water is really clean, only a little tiny bit slimy as you get in and out, then very deep so no need to worry. There is a course for serious Swimmers and those less serious can just potter about a bit.
