I don't even know where to start with this place. This agency was very helpful and fast when processing our move-in, yet throughout the tenancy they were incredibly unhelpful, hard to reach and often rude. The landlord as well as the agency were both compliant in how bad our experience was, with the landlord constantly wanting to cheap out on repairs. The contractor who works for the landlord does not appear to be a professional, simply a friend of the landlord who does everything, who was also rude and unhelpful on multiple occasions. There were instances where he let himself into our flat without permission and without us being notified that he would be there to fix something. Our agent was Angela Grooms who was probably the worst property manager I have ever had in any property I have lived in. She would never respond to emails regarding issues with the property, was always in a 'meeting' when we called to speak to her, and would only respond to our attempts at contacting her if we CC'd her boss into the email. Save yourself the trouble and do not rent from Chase Buchanan. We were tenants at our property only for a year and they made the whole process difficult, from start to finish.
If I could give zero stars I would. This company & the landlord caused us hell for 3 years. Chasing multiple repairs for over 12 months, having to seek help from MP, council and solicitors due to them not fixing issues on time, some of which posed a threat to our safety within the property. DO NOT RENT ANY FLAT IN WILTON STREET - you will regret it, it is not worth the hassle, they have not fixed any issues, including the sewage smell in the bathroom. Tenants leave all the time, never stay for long due to the problems, they just want tenants that will put up and shut up and this is not right !!!
Very polite when starting tenancy however when leaving the property Very rude no respect for GDPR and when questioned about it, apparently to much effort to follow simple GDPR request would not use again under any circumstances
Amazing lettings agency! Moved to the UK in 2019 and after less than 6 month we wanted to move to a house. No agency would accept foreigners with less than 6 months residency but they did! They jumped through so many hoops to help us, even managed to move us at the beginning of the pandemic. We lived there for 2 and a half years and had it not been necessary for us to move due to a family matter we would have stayed there for many years to come! Great help and amazing agency all together!
I engaged Beresford Ward for around two years and I cannot recommend them highly enough. They provided an excellent professional service and went above and beyond the call of duty on many occasions. In addition the team were always friendly and very efficient in replying to both myself and the tenant. It was a great pleasure to work with them.
