I would like to offer an unreservedly positive review of Kristy Burrell at Haart Plymouth, who managed the sale of my parents’ house under particularly challenging circumstances. Both of my parents are now resident in care homes, and during the course of the sale my father—who was central to progressing matters—was experiencing increasing cognitive difficulties. I live in Canada, and although I travelled to the UK twice this year and met Kristy in person, much of my involvement and support had to be provided remotely. Throughout this complex and sensitive process, Kristy was outstanding. She demonstrated not only a high level of professional competence, but also exceptional patience, empathy, and judgement. In particular, her support during the legal verification stages was invaluable. She took the time to clearly explain requirements, anticipate potential issues, and ensure that progress continued despite the additional complexities involved. Her communication was consistently clear, timely, and reassuring—something that cannot be overstated given the family circumstances and geographical distance. Kristy struck an excellent balance between professionalism and genuine human understanding. She showed initiative, ownership, and calm problem-solving throughout, and I always felt confident that the sale was being handled with care and diligence. Kristy is a tremendous credit to Haart. Based on my experience, she operates well beyond what one would reasonably expect in her role, and I would strongly support her suitability for promotion. Wow, what a pleasure it has been to deal with the team at the Exeter Street office, especially Kristy. From my first visit to the office back in March all the way through till today, I have found that nothing was too much bother and whilst I have been going through dealing with my mum's passing, I have been treated like a king. Charis, in particular, has been supportive throughout the entire process and made everything much easier. On my moving-in day, I travelled from London to Plymouth in heavy rain and arrived at the letting agent’s office completely soaked. Despite the situation, Charis was kind and attentive, which I really appreciated. Henrieta was also very welcoming and even gave me a lift to my accommodation, which was such a thoughtful gesture. The property itself is in great condition clean, tidy, and well maintained. I would highly recommend Haart Accommodation to anyone looking for reliable service and a smooth moving experience.
