   Ridiculously overpriced & would recommend just school wear uniforms in Arnold. Bout a skirt for Fernwood Comprehensive in Nottingham at a cost of £27,99 whereas Just Schoolwear in Arnold charge £18,99.

   Myself and partner chose this store for our children's schoolwear. Paid online assumed all was good. Weeks go by and we hear nothing. Phoned to query and was then told they was outta stock with the blazer. Fair enough. The tie should have still been sent that did not arrive either. Apparently the tie "had been sent back". We then agreed with the shop that we would drive up from Hucknall, Nottingham to get it as time was getting to close for comfort with kids going back to school. I asked for proof of postage. (They couldn't provide it) strange that. Even after agreeing to collect the tie from the original order one of the managers insisted she already sent another out but failed to inform any of us about this which is strange because we just agreed with her a few days prior to collect it. When challenged about the inconsistencies in a polite manor she then refused to speak to me and only speak to my partner in hope she would see past it. I wouldn't say avoid but they certainly have some changes that need to be made. My question is: Why would you send out more stock knowing the first one was sent back? Makes no sense. How can I be holding the replacement tie when you said you had personally had posted it out Secondly: Stay on top of orders, if something is not available when you process it... let us know! Not weeks before they are about to start school! Edit: We just noticed on the tie we collected it says... replacement... so they lied and original order 'didn't get sent back'. Wow.

   Wasn't sure about our school moving supplier. Morleys came to the school fair and the queue was crazy so we didn't wait. Went this morning instead...Saturday 930am, already starting to get busy with school autumn term in 2 weeks... Young chap as we came in very helpful and a good eye for sizes. 4 changing rooms so we were in and out. Got everything we needed. Lady on the till, again very knowledgeable... just had a delivery in so think we were lucky! I overheard them saying they do deliveries to the schools on Thursdays

   Staff very friendly and helpful. Prices reasonable and quality is good. Was especially pleased to find that the branded things for my school (you obviously have to visit the correct designated shop) were all available to pick up and take away then and there.

2. Healthy Stuff ★★★★★

   Our son is moving school so we needed to get the full uniform. We went in February, so we were served quickly and shown a variety of options and styles. They didn't have a coat, but there was no drama, it was ordered and will be at the school within a few days. What made this a five star experience was the staff. We were served by a lovely lady with lovely eyebrows and she was friendly, chatty and informative about things we didn't know. Thanks for making our nervous son feel comfortable!

   Loads of negative reviews, but I'm guessing that Schoolwear Solutions doesn't really care, as they have the monopoly on where to buy school uniforms from. No stock Rude staff Zero communication Shop an hour away from where we live Poor customer service Overall, shocking experience received.

   Sons blazer came undone on the shoulder area where the sewing came lose. Informed Raaj the manager who sorted this out. Places order for additional items for the kids uniform and again managed swiftly. Dealt with by Adam and Raaj.

   Placed an order for 4 blouses and a pair of football socks on Tuesday 25th August. Finally recieved 2 blouses on Friday 11th September. Recieved the football socks on Monday 14th September. On Monday 14th September I contacted school solutions as one of the blouses had a stain on, then got asked if I could wash this out, I asked if I did try to wash it would they still accept it back if the stain could not be removed? Which I then got told to send the blouse back and I would receive half of my money back. I asked if it was free returns. No. Then I asked how long would it be until I received the other 2 blouses. To which I got told they are not in stock and they could not tell me when they would be in stock or when I should be expecting them. I am not one to complain ever but I have had no confirmation that my order has been delayed, I paid for delivery which at checkout it did not state that the order can take up to 10 days, I had to read this separately on the delivery and returns tab. I have still not received my order in full way after the 10 days delivery expectation. When I rang up to explain about the stain and chase the rest of my order the guy that I spoke to had no idea about anything and had to put me on hold 4 times to speak with his manager. I am fully aware and appreciate that this is a difficult time for employees and employers but this service is poor.

   Appalling service! Yes there’s a pandemic but what kind of retailer takes orders via a text message and responds with a reply text message saying ‘your will receive a call no earlier from a week today and don’t text back as you will lose your place in the queue’ I’ve never liked this supplier, they are poorly organised, young staff are poorly trained and its extremely frustrating that it’s the only place you can order the school uniform from! I wish the school (Arnold Hill) would change supplier, their mapperly branch has been closed down for months and months, with the only other store in Chilwell! Very frustrating that I have no choice at all but to buy from here when the all around customer experience is so dire!

   Had to reorder my sons logo blazer for the next size up as it was a little too tight, this was 1 day after the 'cut off date' to guarantee arrival before the start of the school year, however I was assured that due to it being one of the 'star schools' it would be prioritised and would be here in plenty of time. I called the store today as school is starts tomorrow to ask if it has arrived yet, the person I spoke to on the phone was extremely rude and unhelpful from the second they answered the phone. I explained I was waiting for the blazer and had been told it should be in before the start of school but I hadn't received a call yet (I was told someone would call by a staff member when I reordered) to be told 'we don't call we send a text or email' I said I hadn't received either to which the reply was 'well then it's not in' I politely asked if they could check to see if there was an expected arrival date and was informed 'we have stock coming in every day' as this didn't actually answer my question I asked if they could double check it had actually been ordered, by this point they were not even trying to hide their annoyance at actually having to perform some type of customer service and rudely said 'well I need more information' (well obviously seeing as you've not even asked my name or the name of the school) I gave them my order information and they replied with 'it's ordered, but it was after the cut off date' before they simply disconnected to call without so much as a goodbye.
