Small place on a wooded hill. Really nice people. We had a walk around. Then ate at the cafe in the carpark opposite (who gave us a discount because we'd visited Shaldon Wildlife Trust). Then we went around for a second time! They were happy for us to leave and come back which I thought was lovely of them. Mainly monkeys, some meerkats, and lemurs. Beautiful squirrels with amazing colours and small wild cats.

This is such a wonderful little zoo. The staff were all friendly and helpful from the ladies on the front desk to the keepers and especially the owner who went out of his way to inform and ensure we got the very best from our day. It was a full day for us because we took our time, went for a lovely lunch at The Ness Pub and then went around again, staying for the afternoon feeding. The animals are well looked after and are often highly endangered in the wild - making this "sanctuary" zoo's breeding programs an important conservation effort. Thank you for a fabulous day.

Lovely little zoo. Spent about an hour here. Lots of little animals mainly monkeys. Zoo itself is easy to walk around. Well kept and maintained. Staff very friendly and gift shop well stocked. Would recommend if in area. You can go in as many times as you like during the day with your ticket. Good connections with other businesses in area as provided discounts in the local pub with a ticket.

This little place is great! The ticket allows you entry for the whole day and is near a local cafe and beach. The zoo itself is small but has a lot of good displays with fairly active animals, there is also a room of terrariums and a dark room for nocturnal creatures. This is a great place to come with toddlers and children. The boards and paths around the zoo can be somewhat slippery after wet weather.

This is a really small centre. But the way they've designed it, is great. They've filled every space. Good sized cages, that are home to various animals, some extremely endangered due to loss of habitat/deforestation, due to human activity. It's a lovely little place that I will visit again if I get the chance.

Wonderful experience at this little trust. You can see all the animals nice and close up, the little monkeys are very very adorable and make the cutest sounds. The Lori's are also really cute and the lady made sure we could see all of them. They also have a nice little gift shop at the end with plenty if bits for kids. All in all really worth it.

This is a fabulous little zoo with wonderful, helpful and knowledgeable staff. We spent the morning wandering round looking at the various animals. All of whom looked happy and active and well cared for. Youβre allowed to re-enter on your ticket, and as thereβs no cafe we had a walk into town and found a lovely shop and bought a picnic to have by the sea. Then back up to the zoo to see what the animals were up to this afternoon. I find it sad to see bad reviews saying there is nothing to see! These people must be in a rush to get somewhere because a little patience goes a long way and if you take a moment at each lovely enclosure youβre sure to see the animals playing or grooming or simply being themselves. Thankyou so much to the lady on the counter who popped into the nocturnal room to tell us about the loris. She knew all about each one. Why they were there and what theyβd been through. It was super informative and very enjoyable. Only sadness was we didnβt see the civets or the armadillos ! But hopefully we will on our next visit !!
