This was by far the WORST experience I’ve ever had with any store. I tried returning a stainless steel toaster and a urn that I NEVER used, and the staff refused the return because of “fingerprints.” Fingerprints? On stainless steel? That’s the most pathetic excuse I’ve ever heard. When I tried to take photos for proof, the manager completely lost his attitude. I called him a lier because that’s exactly how he was acting. Instead of handling the situation professionally, he grabbed my items and threw them outside the store like rubbish. The behaviour was disgusting, rude, and totally unprofessional. If this is how Argos treats honest customers, then they clearly don’t deserve anyone’s business. I will NEVER shop at Argos again and I’ll be telling everyone I know to avoid them too.

I visited argos walsall to collect an eBay parcel last week, the lady checked the name and handed the parcel to me without performing any checks (barcode, ref numbers etc). Today I went to collect another parcel and because I didnt get asked for a barcode last time, I did not assume I needed one. The guy who i assume was the manager was like a bouncer, keeping me from my parcel. I had multiple forms of photo ID, but they were holding my parcel hostage without the barcode that I didnt need last week. Make your minds up, one rule one day, a different the next.

Walsall Wharf Argos - absolutely disgusting customer service. I was trying to return a children’s toy that hasn’t worked properly since I bought it less than a week ago. Went in store today and they ‘tested’ it. A few of the gel balls (it was a gel blaster) spluttered out of the gun and this was their way of ‘testing it’. I asked to speak to the manager ‘Andy’ - he was passive aggressive (in my opinion) and started talking about IPhone fraud. Not sure why he was telling me about this - I was returning a £35 children’s toy and asking for a refund or replacement. He told me to contact online customer services knowing full well they do not deal with store complaints (I told him as much). Thankfully, I have a contact from Sainsburys senior management and they are going to deal with this. Buy off Amazon and forget high street dinosaurs like Argos. Hopefully Andy and his colleagues will receive some well needed training.

Absolutely vile I had a kettle that was under 1 year but refused to exchange as the manager Andrzej said it was in poor state. I explained that the kettle had a fault and it was nothing to do with that state. Andrzej, behaviour, temperament and rudeness personified a lack of respect. I will be complaining to head office. I have refused to give my money to them I would rather go to curry’s. Also the attitude of a burly tall woman: I think her name is Sue was very rude. She strolled with an enigma that wasn’t matched by her professionalism. God knows how andrzej became the manager there.

Staff are clueless, the manager that came out was a waste of time, tried to return an item and was told no, are u mad! Only had it a week and didn't use it at all as it was damaged, threw the item in the store and left it there, definitely racist in that place.

Very pleasant and helpful staff, great to walk in and be greeted by someone, lady assisted me in my query, and while she was looking on Computer two other staff asked if I needed assistance ! So helpful can't remember the last time I walked in a shop and there was assistance like that! Purchased two pair Habitat curtains, one size was sent from another branch for me, ready for me to collect within two days. Thank you

The slightly older female customer assistant is very rude and arrogant, didn't resolve my query nor did she forward it to a higher authority. Simply ignored my needs which left me stranded with no idea on what to do. She was also raising her voice at me so I had to match her manner. As a business graduate I can claim that customer service is always a top priority and in this instance, it wasn't regarded by any means. A very disappointing experience and I am hesitant to shop at this particular branch.
