Just been into Kingsbridge to pick up a 90 year old disabled lady where I’m a taxi driver I was abused by a driver of a rally no bus today swearing at me not even noticing I’m a ya I driver locally Why are such people allowed on the road disgusting behaviour
Recently went on a two day trip to Chelsea flower show 2025 Lorraine was our courier and sue our driver great service.
We took the 164 bus from Salcombe to Totnes & back yesterday. Got to say driver no 48 is a superb safe & courteous driver. Made the journey special so we concentrate on the scenery not on the other traffic. He dealt really well with the potholes, the idiots with no idea of their vehicle width & the hell raising delivery drivers plus it was school time coming home. Well done driver
Turned up for the 6.10 bus today and never arrived. Missed connection to train. You try to support local and public transport but then they let you down and you think next time take the car.
We have used them over the years for day trips and short breaks. We have never been less than impressed. They always put the customer first.

Failure to operate the 612 bus service today (20th June 2017) from Mothecombe, Battisborough and Holbeton left me and an 85 year old chap needing to get to Lee Mills Tesco stranded. The reason given by the company was that the road was closed north of Holbeton and that as Tally Ho was not previously notified of the road closure by DCC Highways, it was under no obligation to operate the 612 or provide a taxi to get us to Ivybridge (where I had an appointment) and the old chap to Tesco. I'm afraid that excuse is complete rubbish. The road closure is only a very short section and has been advertised with signs for at least two weeks and the driver was advised by the old chap on last week's run. Moreover, there is an obvious diversion route signposted through Dunstone; the usual route for Target Travel's 94 Noss Mayo bus (operated by an Optare Solo - the same as the 612 - so there are no access problems). With an easy diversion to pick up passengers from Battisborough (including that 85-year old chap) and Holbeton, you tell me if Tally Ho is justified or if it's a feeble excuse, dreadful customer care and/or a lazy driver. Beware if you rely on their services.
